My Server isn't working PLZ HELP!?

    OK so iv'e been trying to get a server up for months here's the details :)
    What iv'e done:
    i can run the dedicated.autostart
    i have edited the stuff i wanted in dedicated_autoconfig & dedicated_autostart
    i have chosen and put in the maps appropriately (so when it works they should work fine)
    i have allowed the port 50301 in my firewall

    SO far i can get my server on the list but it dosn't work and has no Ping or info or anything
    (it's name is Creilles Server!!! <3)

    What i have also done:
    Iv'e put the ports into my game and application sharing in my thompson gateway
    (i was told what to put in plz help if ive done it wrong.

    Reason: Connection timed out

    Error: I could not see your service on 121.223.167.189 on port (50301)
    Reason: Connection timed out

    Error: I could not see your service on 121.223.167.189 on port (51308)
    Reason: Connection timed out

    im not sure if these are "connection timed out" because my internet is slowed atm or is that just what it normally says?
    BTW ive been told there ^^ the 3 ports i should try :p
    also i dont think i should have the need to blur my ip hardly any harm could come :P

    Well, I can only think of using a linux as a solution. I think you may have to pay a server hosting website if you want to try hosting one yourself. I have tried this many times and have never found a solution. If you can afford to pay, 10 bucks a month would be a good price for a decent server (ones like [KSB]). But if you can't pay, I cannot help you any further. Sorry, but that's the only solution I can think of.

    Forward the port your using for your server, or put your ip address in dmz mode in the router settings.


    Error: I could not see your service on 121.223.167.189 on port (50328)
    Reason: Connection timed out

    This error means that it cant connect to properly, and usually is related to your port. Make sure in your dedicated_autoconfig.cfg file you have these two ports the same.

    global cl_joinaddress = `188.165.236.72:50350`; // Client only! Join address for the GUI box in menu.
    global sv_port = 50350; // Server communication port, this is where it listens for incoming clients. Remember to open this port in your firewall.

    Dmz mode?
    yeah I will check if there the same also I dont think I've enabled 50350 into my firewall

    i would not advise DMZ mode as it is easy for "hackers" to "hack" you then. BUT u must forward 50301 not 50350 because he has changed his for this but unless u have which i dont think u have ur using 50301
