Emoticon appreciation thread.

Is it me, or are those small speech-bubble emoticons the best feature in the game? It boosts the game's comical aspect, it gives a chance to smile for a great kill, or laugh about it. Gives a chance to flex your muscles when blocking a big push or just flipping people off.

The thing I like the emotes is that even the aggressive/insulting ones rarely seem to inflict actual harm, mostly because it is already built-in the game. It is there for laughs, not to be used very seriously. I think if the middle finger was not there and people used it via mods/ascii art/whatever, then it would be real insulting perhaps.

Anyway, I appreciate the emoticons, A LOT.

 

I love the emotions they're so much fun and super silly although can save people alot (the ! emotion has saved many people from bombs and the sorts)

 

I love my emoticons, without them the game would lose it's meaning quite often.
One downside is, that when I play other games I always spam those numbers.

 

I would like it if you could hot key your favourite emotes instead of holding Q and doing it that way. BUT THE EMOTES ARE GREAT!

Actually you can send most of the facial emoticons by pressing keys 1-9.

 

but I want to be able to quickly erect my middle finger at someone when they're making Bunny angry.

i would rather be able to customize my button so the ladder is 1, too often im in the midst of the battle and i have to yell out that idiot builder to build a ladder

 

Emoticons are awesome, especially when a corpse glitches out and starts smiling/laughing after you throw it.

 

We still need this one ingame

 

I agree with Bunny it would be so useful if we could be able to customise our 1:9 Smileys.

They should make the mini picture ( you know the one) a emoticon

 

O yeah it would be cool to have animated emotes in game.
