I shook my head at the question.
'I'm not sure,' I replied, 'You choose. All that I know is my family's name is Havensong. You choose my first name. I do owe you.'

 

I think for a little bit and than it comes to me "Umm, Do you like the name Caitlin?"

 

'Caitlin, CAITLIN Is that the BEST you can do?!? I trust you to give me a name and you come up with Caitlin!'
I turn away, as to hide the smile breaking on my face.
'Okay, then.. whaaa-aaat abouut-'
'I was kidding. Caitlin it is. Caitlin Havensong is my name. Unless if you change your mind in the next 3 seconds, per chance. No then, Okay, soo, what now?'

Not much to do, just following Cavall while keeping a close eye on Shax. I swear, he keeps darting into the undergrowth to pick MUSHROOMS of all things....still, as long as he doesn't use them on me, I'm fine with that. Plus, if I get lucky, a goblin might pick him off. Speaking of goblins, we had to fight four off a day ago, though it was nowhere near as bad as when we lost Gareth.

Cavall keeps saying it'll only be a weeks walk away, not that I'm holding my breath. He may be a decent navigator, but there is simply no way to cross half the known land in less than a week, on foot. Shax's bumbling about is hardly helping, might hit him next time he wonders off.

Not with my mace if he's lucky.

I smile at how she tricked me. "So now we're going to go and get supplies. I ran out on the journey up the mountain. We will travel west, I've heard of a town there. Do you know how to use a weapon?"

 

'I don't know, I can't remember, remember?' I reply, wincing mentaly at the repetition of words. I waved the sheet of paper that Crane gave me before we left that implied that I am a member of the group, 'Spiritual Purification'. 'Unless, of course, of this. You heard of them?'

 

"Not really, I think I remember hearing about it once but I'm getting old and well, you know. Even if you can't remember everything you still might be able find what weapon you like to use. Maybe you know how to use a bow. I've got one in my bag, would you like to try it out?"

(Holy crap, guys, I thought this was dead! :3 It never showed up in my reply list. I suppose I'm going to discontinue my character, as I've missed out on a huge chunk of gameplay.)

 

(Don't worry about it. It's happened to me two time already and one time I had to be reminded my Monsteri. :p)

 

I recieved the bow, and nocked an arrow and then...
Failed the bring it to half draw.
'This isn't my weapon. I guess you'll have to be my knight in shining armour until I discover what it is.'

Four days. Four hellish days of non-stop walking, pausing only to rest for an hour or two before setting off once more. Even Cavall looks unsure of himself now, though he insists we are heading in the right direction.

A tower is sighted in the distance, one that looked long past its time, crumbling from disrepair.
"Is that the 'city' you were talking about, Cavall?" cursing myself as soon as the words left my mouth
"Its a tower, not a bloody city! Do you have eyes physician?"
"I just...uh.... never mind"

We wondered up to the once great oak door, now splintered and torn.
"Might as well explore this place, who knows, some survivors might be holed up in here" Baldulf said somewhat optimistically.
As he spoke, an ominous whisper of wind reached our ears, and the door swung slowly open, seemingly on its own.
"Looks perfectly safe" Baldulf grinned with a degree of insanity. "Onwards!"

 

In an attempt to end all life as we know it, I try to set off the said bomb mentioned earlier and it exploded the zombies, my army, my keep, and I with it. I now live in the Heavens with my ancestors, gracefully roaming about and discovering new and odd things.

(I thank you all with this wonderful RP, but I just don't have the time to keep up with it anymore, and it was getting stale to me. I wish you all the best of luck with this wondrous adventure! By the way, my keep and army ARE DEAD! They are gone permanently and no one can use them. With that being said, have fun, stay alive, and keep RPing! Masonmistel, out.)

(hmm....im in favour of that, but what would be the next danger the land would face? You know, after mason suicided for no apparent reason? ^^)

 

(It was a plot to try and destroy everything, but, unfortunately, something, one way or another, went wrong, and it just exploded my keep so no one else could use it.)

 

(Three words. Lamest. Wizard. Ever. "Aha! I have successfully summoned an army of the undead! The world shall tremble at my feet! In fact, I shall destroy it!" Famous last words...

 

(Yeh, well, I had to go out somehow, and I couldn't blow up the world, so I just stuck with the simple option. Maybe, just maybe, someday I'll be back for vengeance. Reincarnation, acquiring a human host, being an extraterrestrial being from another dimension. The possibilities are endless. But, for now, I'm gone.)

 

(Is it ok if we make your character an NPC? That way we get to continue the story AND you get to take a break :D)
