I made a server and when my friends try to connect this message appears : please check the adress again and make sure the server is running...
I unlocked the port 50301 of my firewall and of my modem (TCP & UDP) I don't understand why it don't works, help me please.

PS : I can connect alone with 127.0.0.1:50301

 

25565 Port needs to be open I think.

Type your ip, port and say is it open or not

If you want normal server just to play with friends I think you should use hamachi instead. It doesn't need opened ports.

It don't work, my modem don't want to unlock I don't understand why (I unlocked them but it don't work), I know it's my modem because I desactivated my firewall.
So, how to do it with hamachi ??

 

Nobody can join they have the same message as I, in return I can connect with "Connect to" option at my local ip : 127.0.0.1:50301.
I tested (with my firewall turned off) the port 50301 with dedicated running and it said it can't see me "Connection timed out", I even tested port 21 (FTP) and 80 (HTTP) but it was written the same.
I really don't understand why I can't make a server it's really annoying :(
How can I choose a opened port, or what I have to do ?

I don't think it has anything to do with ping.

That's if you still want it. I think your friends will also need hamachi for this to work.

 

I got this problem because I could'nt open my modem's closed ports, I guess it's the same for you.
First of all try to open the ports on your firewall :)

Port forwarding didnt help for us. Ports still closed, and the guide on that website listed above me her just told me to do exactly as i just did...
