Roman/Greek Texture Pack

Anyone want to get started on a good old Greek texture pack? Something similar to that of Spartans and Athenians and the Greek City-States? I really thought that it would be a pretty sweet setting to see KAG in.

I kinda' got inspired by this after watching Wraith of the Titans and from games like Age of Mythology and Rome Total: War.

If anyone is capable of taking on this task, feel free to share your progress here. I look forward to the masterpeice you and your fellow KAG members create. ;) I think that this pack could be made into two separate packs or one combined theme pack. It's fair game.

Some ideas I have for the basics:

• Knights - Greek Spartan Hoplites with spears or Roman soldiers with shield and short sword
• Archers - normal archers with respective armor
• Builders - normal builders with a little less armor than Knights and Archers.

 

FlamingDragon is going to make one after he has made The Samurai Texture Pack.

 

I support him 100%. If he needs anything, let me know.

You can go ahead and make it, I'm busy with tons of stuff in real life. Ask me if you need help with anything.

Edit: Oh lol, I thought you were gonna make the texture pack. Well then, I should try to get stuff in order and finish my texture pack to start on this X3

 

Well......Spartans would be awesome, and so would Athenains. Whoever is making the textures, I'm giving them my gratitude, and if he/she wants them tested, I'm always open for it....

 

i think archers can throw spears, instead of shooting from bows.
