This sounds great :D. I remember when i went premium and everyone knew what they were doing, you could rely on each other and their were no patheticly easy kills that left you dissatisfied and didn't give you a sense of acheivment. Slowly this changed and the noobs that i managed to escape slowly crept into the golden haven. A pros only server would permanently bring back this reality and force noobs to get some skill

 

+1 Good sir, this is what we need. I would hope to make the whitelist, but I won't count on it cause I'm not Beef.

 

Any idea where exactly this server will be hosted? Texas? California? Seeing as we want overall lag to be lower than 200, we might want to hit the west coast.

Too bad I will probably lag as the servers are hosted in Virginia :s

 

Eh I never really have ping problems even on euro servers.... and I'm in texas :D Only time I have problems with lag is either my internet is buggy or the whole server is messed up, not just for me.

 

You have no idea how shit Australian internet is, compared to you Americans.

 

Well there is going to be an open weekend so you can have your chance to show you stuff.

 

If there is one thing that i'd recommend on the open weekend though, it's don't be an ass to people intentionally, douche's have no place on the derp free server. ;)

 

This is very very true. We are not elitists we just don't want to derpy players! We want to win or losing knowing everyone did what needed to be done and we were just bested in skill. I will be giving rcon out to a few players for this weekend as well.

 

Is it me reading bad or is there no word about, that can free (non-premium) players join it? I know a few good free people too..

 

It was but we had 3 people who were free and they didn't even know they were in it because they didn't have forum accounts. Some people did want it free but I talked it over with blitz and a few other members whos opinion I trusted and we made it gold. While making it gold we revamped the name and everything so people know that its not JUST for pros and its a fun gold server for none derps. Sorry : /

 

Bah! Saying that is quite offensive to free players. Like free players can't be "pros"? Do you know players like Nythil? Graver? Even myself! Just because You buy the game and You have the Gold name, doesn't make you professional? Sadly I'm not a premium, maybe I will never be.

 

He said the server is for non-derp players...He isn't saying free players can't be good. :|

 

We had free players in the "pros only" But we changed it from a server just for "pros" to a gold server for non derps >.>

lol just took a look, and the ping kinda sucked, even though there were only 5 players :p For players to be ''pro'' or ''good'' they also need a good server you know? 290ms is not that great.
