No I don't want. I want things Geti already said he is gonna do. From where come these slopes ?! No suggestions about this, it's also not in the banner. Why KAG progressing so slow ? Because we got updates of things we never asked and was never planned. Can we just have things on the banner firstly ? I just want a game without bug, having what is promised but I got slopes ! Amazing guys, let's slide on slopes and fuck the game !

I know devs already work hard on the game but why making this ? Just be more concentrated on things you already planned.

the main purpose of the new blocks is the config behind them, they will be 100% configurable with many options, like HP for different kinds of attacks(knight might be able to break stone blocks after 50 or so hits) proper HP (instead of damage states,) overlaying blocks, wood blocks floating on water, etc, etc.

Another reason is because the tileset code is horrid, filled with many bugs and almost impossible to fix without re-writing ALL of the 2k lines of code. -> this is easier.

Little suggestion you've probably already considered, Knights should be able to go faster then normal on down slopes by using their shield like a sled or toboggan.

I'm ok with this race gamemode... as long as I can have signs to flame pubs who fail at platforming and fall into pits...

This is a little... unexpected. But hey, I can't argue with new free elements to the game, and I trust the devs know their time budget and what they can/cannot do, and I trust them to be able to give us the features they promised. I really hope this doesn't detract from some of the more... valuable additions to the game later like War mode, vehicles, or a proper inventory system, but again, I trust they know what they're doing. I just hope they don't go too in-depth with the slabs to the point that it's completely useless in a fast game like KAG.

One a happy note, FUCK YES TRAMPOLINES. This is one of the moments I didn't know I desperately wanted something until you told me about, and now I want trampolines. Also, HERaLD may have had the best idea I've seen all day with the shield sleds. I want. I also want to see a trap where you can have boulders drop down from two ramps killing everyone in the middle. Although the slabs might not be so practical, I can see lots for players coming up with a whole lot of ideas and contraptions with them, and at least of few of them might be somewhat helpful.

Seriously though, get those boats out devs. I don't know how much longer I can take the death-water.

What are you talking about? this is specifically for WAR mode and the proper inventory system.

You're right Rayne, but it seems less helpful then say food, backpacks, or farms (if those are still a thing), or testing on the balance of war mode, like something to speed up traveling (which I would think would be vehicles, but if we're suppose to slide down a hill and glide across the map, I'm cool with that too), or how much longer a match should be, or something else besides capture-the-fucking-flag. Kinda like what WarrFork said, something that is more crucial to the balance of the game right now. Something that is necessary. You don't need a one-way ramp to one your teams side because you have ladders, you don't need a slide for spikes because you could just put the spikes there, you don't need to slide bombs down slides because you can just throw them like a normal person. I just would like to see more direct progress to these important, needed parts of later games. I don't want to have another build like this one where we get one important part or the game (water) while missing a counter/another important part of the game (boats).

So will trampolines be like self-launching catapults?

I hope theres a glitch with trampolines that when they flip up-side down, they start bouncing themselves, would make me laugh.

I'd love to see sideways trampolines one castles that bounce kegs, bombs, and arrows back at the enemy, except the enemy would also have said trampolines, making a hot-potato game of death.

    Better yet, trampoline shields. Yes.

All of those system sound good, but I still don't see how slope blocks fit in all this.

Heck, I would somewhat understand 1x1 slope blocks, but I don't get the irregular sized blocks? The building options would get quite cluttered with all the possible variations of them. Even for the 1x1 slopes you'd need atleast 2 options, if not 4 for just that type of a block.

Also, whats this inventory talk all about? What does it add and why do we need it?

I wish I could answer more, but I'm not sure what I'm allowed to share with the forums. building options getting cluttered won't be a thing, I can say that much.

    Wait til Geti answers.

Well if you look at the poster of what we get as a premium member, it has food and such, along with wild animals we can make food, and use it on the battle field for healing (Maybe other buffs?).
A key element for WAR mode i would guess.

One question: Do we get to grab ledges like this? :p
    [IMG]

Another question: Do we get to bounce boulders and kegs off trampolines?
Yet another question: When you said jumping will be angle-dependant, does that mean we require ledges to jump at all?
One last question: Is food still planned?

That's a good point, despite how pretty they look and all. If it requires major overhauls in movement mechanics, so be it, but I think there should be a reason to build them in the first place. Perhaps special siege weapons can only be rolled up slopes, as the bearers cannot jump? Throwing of any kind would have to be prevented, as would picking them up from above, then dropping them back down higher, which means such objects would have to be dropped with the same offset as they were picked up. There seem like trivial details, but they are the most major things that would interfere with such a mechanic/render it useless so I'm throwing it out there (I mean currently you can "pick up" catapults through the floor this way).
