Nice guide Cheesy, it really does cover all the basics.

 

geti himself has said that the little boost you get while slashing is not a bug.

I like the guide, but perhaps you should add the part that explains how shield bashing is now turned off, by default. ;)

If you really want a challenge try explaining in a picture how to do the propulsion bomb jump (chuck bomb in air shield at it while falling) you should make this into a little booklet :P

 

Added trap bridge stabbing, door holding and a reminder saying shield bashing is turned off by default in the latest build.

 

Concerning the shield crush. I would like to further elaborate on the subject. A shield crush would work instantly if there was a ladder on the wall that the enemy was being crushed against. Stun was removed in a update to prevent stun spamming so the 'shield crush' doesn't work anymore.
Also there is a way to get up 5 blocks using vaulting and slashing. Kilatron46 mentioned it before. Just stand before the ledge, charge you slash and when the slash is just about to be fully charged, vault and when your mid-air release the slash. This will get you up 5 blocks succesfully.

Also, if you actually looked at the guide, you would notice that I have already included the 5 block slash vault..

Edit: Or maybe I am just a complete retard... the 5 block vault is in the video but not the guide. Derps on me.

 

Nice guide cheese sorry for the delay, It is very good beginner's would enjoy and maybe evan some people who know some basic might have got some things out of it, Maybe add slash jump to get over bigger things less I missed that knowing I skipped A phargrah

 

I was mistaken. The shield crush actually does work under the right circumstances. The enemy must be mid-air. Basically you shield bash them so they go flying into a wall then you will see gibs go everywhere and you will know that it worked. I have done it twice. Once to Kater and once to a builder and knight. Note that the wall must be stone.

this guy is talking about Sheild bashing glitch. it makes you fly.
here is how it works.

you and them have to be both in air.
and you have to shield bash them while the guy is jump slashing.

 

You are the one who is mistaken. I am not talking about the 'flying' glitch. I am actually reffering to the shield crush (look above at cheesemasters guide). You shield bash into a stone wall and they will be crushed. I am no idiot for your information. You misinterpreted my information. I am reffering to the shield crush. To shield bash someone in the latest build they must be midair. Note that shield bashing is different to shield stun.

no not really thats not true. It depends on that you mean by "shield bash"

shield stun is a part of shield stun as you call it.
