Forum New forum launched! Information on how to reclaim old posts inside

Hurrah, finally!

As of today we have migrated from fluxbb to xenforo, a much more featureful piece of software that will hopefully provide users with a much better experience!

With the new software has come a big change, all logins are handled via kag2d.com now. When logging in to the forum you must use a valid kag2d.com username and password. If you change your password or email via the forum no changes will take place.

If you have any problems with the new forum or spot any bugs please let me know. I will work on getting any problems fixed as soon as possible! If you can include examples of your problem and how to replicate it that would be most appreciated!

If you're an old member here from the old forum all you need is your old forum username, email address and password and you can reclaim your old posts automatically. If you head over to kagforum.com/reclaim.php and enter this information we'll automatically transfer the posts to your new account. Fancy!

current problems / things to be addressed:
changing password or email does nothing
emails not sending

After my initial kneejerk negativity to anything new, seems good. I think the white could be toned down to match the background a bit. Actually, everything could be darkened IMO.

PMs and bigger avatars, yes yes.

edit: would it be possible to change to smiley's to the in-game ones? I for one am pretty fond of those.

I've got the first bug mentioned by Furai. I wouldn't know what's doing it, but I should note that I didn't realize I was logged in when I tried to reclaim the profile. Is that a requirement for it to work?

Yeah, it was an oversight. I thought I had fixed it but apparently not. I'll set something up to recalculate user message totals later today :-)

I checked and it would appear you had 2 accounts, that's strange as they both have the same username (that shouldn't have been able to happen) so the merge process may break for you, but you're welcome to try it anyway. I've sent you a private message here with a new password for you to use, try now!

How are they annoying? If you want to show them you hover over the topic for one sec. If you don't you just click it. Or do you usually hover over a link for more than one second to click it?
