RP- The Shroud descends

'How did you know?' I hissed, 'about this?' gesturing to my back, where my wings were concealed.

 

Dear Ella
On my way to the Deimos Peninsula I've been having more strange dreams, The Shroud is not dead for I have seen it in the dreams. In these dreams it has attacked Temor, your home town and ruined it. If you do not arrive by tomorrow then Temor will be destroyed, it has grown stronger than ever and you will not be able to take it down as easy. From my observations it has doubled in size and power.

"Er, well, aha, ye see, me bruver, (god bless 'im), said, errr, Goddammit stop staring like that would'ja?!?, He said, uhm, you were an, errr, angel, see?

 

'Gah! How the heck did your brother know *sigh* Guess there's only one way to make sure you don't spill the beans- I'm coming with you.'

 

"I would be glad of your company...Only...It involves trecking into dwarven wastelands in search of an artifact that may or may not exist anymore..."

 

'I'm coming with you.'

 

The two zombie spearmen guarding the entrance to the cave were killed quickly and silently with two arrows, Lark then casually walked in. He could sense the aura of death and despair. "Lark, you have returned," boomed a deep and sinister voice "indeed I have, to do this! Yelled Lark, firing a volley of 10 arrows, four of them hit but the rest were shielded.

"Fool! You cannot win." he claimed, summoning a circle of zombies around him, Lark just charged up his dark orb then slammed it into the ground killing them. Enraged the necromancer shot dark energy at the roof causing that section to fall on him, "too easy" boasted the necromancer.

Larkvthen appeared behind him and stabbed him in the back, "ARGH!" he yelled in pain and threw Lark over his shoulders, Kark went to shoot him but he was jerked into the air "You do know that I can still control you." Kovath gloated, locking Lark into a shadow chair.

"Now you!" he pointed at a skeleton "yes sir?" "die!" Kovath flicked his hand and the skeleton imploded, "think of what I can do to you." "No… oh god no… HELP! Screamed Lark, Kovath waved his hand, and the bones started breaking.

 

"then let me lead, fair Angel, and we shall be there within the day."

 

Bloodcreed abruptly appeared in front of the two "Hello Orc and lady, Kovath captured Lark and is torturing him! I heard that you need to go to the dwarves wastelands which is just west of the Deimos Peninsula, please help!"

 

"we can afford to do that. Lark needs our help, let's hurry'

"Here we are, this place is crawling with zombies." *heads inside Lark's ribcage was torn open, part of his kneecap was in his head and things a lot worse. "Please help…" he moaned.

Raven finally arrives at the Dungeon of Despair. He gets out his sword and shield and cautiously walks in the entrance. It was dark. Far too dark. In a flash, light shines above Raven. "Ssssso glad you can join us, Raven" A weird voice said. "Who's there?" Raven asked.

A figure walks out of the shadows and reveals himself. "I am the curr you seek, the one who you owe vengeance. I am Arven Doomwalker! The very Sage who killed your parents!" Arven said. "How do you know?" Raven asked. "How could I not? I know everything. I knew you'd come. It'd just take a long time." Arven said. "You'll die by my sword today." Raven said in a heroic voice. "Ha ha, I think not, you've heard of this Dungeon, yes? It is far bigger than your average dungeon. Let us see if you can survive this place, and my minions." Arven said, just as he teleported. Raven tried swinging his sword at him. "Be damned, you curr, I'll hunt you down!" Raven shouted.

Skeletons and Zombies, and all sorts of monsters came from the exit and the entrance to the deeper part of the dungeon. He was surrounded. "Hm, this will be quite the challenge." Raven said to himself. He readies his sword and shield.

 

Light wakes up extremely late into the afternoon. * stretch* "aaaaaahhhh" Light yawns. "W-whered everyone go......" Light stuttered with a laughing voice.
He notices a note from Kiddo Raven "I left with the skeleton,It was nice meeting you i hope our paths cross again." Light jumps up in surprise. "Dam! That kids going to go to the dungeon by himself, hes too cocky! He may be strong but you can't be a hero alone!" He said with anger. *Punches a tree near by* "Dammit!" Light yells grabbing his satchel and sword off the ground. He runs in the direction of the dungeon knowing that raven is going to be there. As Light gets closer to this ruin looking place he realizes it is the dungeon hes looking for. He approaches and hes some kind of monsters swarming the entrance. "Am i too late?!" Light unsheathes his sword and slides into the dungeon cutting anything in his way. Then he spots raven in a defensive stance with his sword and shield. "Hey! Dont leave me!" He yells *Slapes raven on the head*

 

It wasn't long before they all went their separate paths, leaving Ella alone. When she received Lark's letter she was thrown into a state of panic. She had to get home, if not at least to warn everyone. She quickly rushed to the nearby stables. Her father had been a good friend to the owner and she soon had herself a mount.
She rode tirelessly for the entire day, she had to reach Temor before it was too late...

 

The shroud was nearly at Temor to exact it's revenge, it could see a woman riding a horse in the distance. It realised it was the girl and she had come alone, she could not possibly win.
