RP- The Shroud descends

Light scratches his head "Well raven didnt tell me much.. the day you guys left that morning but i guess i understand" He said "Well lets just get a move on it.. i dont want this Ella girl to get hurt." Light stuttered a little while running towards temor

 

Lark caught Light's last words, "rest assured she's fine, you seem to have taken a liking to her," Lark mocked

 

Light laughs "I just want no one to get hurt i can't let anything happen to anyone.." He then looks down and runs faster

 

"Gah!" Lark cried out in pain, the arrow embedded into the back of the skull, flaking bone around it. The unknown assailant disappeared into the trees.

Light looked back in shock and carried Lark on his back while continuing the trip to Calaper Caves.

 

Lark regained consuicness and shrugged himself off.
//BTW We are going to the Calaper Caves not Temor.

 

"Are you okay?" Light asked while patting Larks back softly
//You said temor in the other post :p

 

"I think I'll be right," replied Lark, painfully pulling the arrow from the back of his skull.

 

"Who could of done that..?" Light said "Also why are you bringing me into this whole battle?"

 

"If the rumours are true, you're the only fire adept around here."

 

"I never want to use fire,i had to protect raven with it. and look at the cost my arms are severely burnt" Light says tragically and unwraps his arms showing the countless burns and scorch marks along with scars

 

"Well if you can't help us, then leave now," Lark grimaced bluntly.

 

Light grits his teeth and grabs the back of larks skull melting the bone over covering the hole that was made by the arrow to cover it. "Fire isnt the only thing i can use to fight." Light jumps back quickly and pulls out his sword. "Test me if you think i cant help you."

 

"I wouldn't want to injure you now, or worse, so I would reccomend you quit quarreling and focus on more important matters." replied Lark, firing a beam of darkness at a hidden man flaying his bones. "People seem to want me dead."

 

"I can injury you, dont act so cocky just because ur undead." Light says in a angry tone while gripping his hilt tightly "Just keep walking you stack of bones."

 

"Just as well you can meatsack, but if I die... You're saying you won't need a dark magic master who has great strenght because of previous demon inhabitance?"

 

"I'm fine as long as i'm living life i dont care if i die." Light says with a dead on stare with no hesitation and a grin " I've had a bad life, so now i'm just going to live to the fullest even if that fullest puts me in deaths hands."

 

"As you wish youngster." Lark saw a russle in the bushes and charged up a dark shard, "don't shoot Lark! It's me!
"Falucis? Is that you?" "Yes it is indeed," replied Falucis, walking over to Lark only to sky uppercut him shattering Lark's rib. "Kovath promised me that he would revive me, but he's dead thanks to you. Sorry friend, no hard feelings but I'm going to cut you into pieces on an organ." he said, pulling out his cutlass, "I always wanted a career in music," Groaned Lark.

 

*Grunts*
"You're a fool fer messing with us, laddie. C'mere!"
With a heave he slashed downwards with infernal power, cutting the very air in two...
To find himself frozen by dark magic.
"What're ye playing at, fool!? Release me!"

 

"Help!" Screamed Lark as he released Ugos from the magic, only to have Lark fly across the ground from a punch that made the earth rumble. "Go finish him off Raxor!" Yelled Falucis as Raxor cracked his knuckles and slowly walked towards Lark.
