RP- The Shroud descends

"what is it you want, human."

 

"Alright thank you ella" Light replied and turns to Ugos "Were working together if you didnt hear so you better show some more respect. Come with me i'm going to make armor and weapons." Light grabs him by his arm and drags Ugos along

 

Lark reappeared next to Light and Ugos, "after this I reccomend you to combine your powers to make the slag for the catapults, which you'll be firing." Lark once again enigmatically disappeared.

Lark appeared next to Ella, " after this get your men ready, inspire them." Lark then walked over to Aspathe. "Get your mages ready to channel their power," Lark disappeared once more.

 

Light used any scrap metal he could find and makes shoulder-to hand armor for everyone's right arm with a blade attached on the top of the fist. "Yosh, Alright..." Light says while getting the sweat off his forehead. Light walks out of the area to where everyone assembling to leave. "Oi, Everyone! Take one of these it'll come in handy." He says while handing out armor.

 

Lark then replied, "now go with Ugos up to the ridge with the archers and catapults and wait for my signal which will be a stream of shadow into the air." Lark turned around to the soldiers of group B, "Ella here shall inspire you!" Lark turned to Ella and listened.

 

Light turns back to Ugos throwing him a special right arm armorset "Lets go." He said patting Ugos's shoulder.

 

Shifting his shoulder slightly, he examined the pauldron/gauntlet set.
"I guess nothing will replace my staringot armour... But this is pretty damning good."
He followed Light, his huge legs catching Ugos up to Light quickly.
"I'll begin summoning rocks.
Get ready to catch..."

 

"Get the mages ready to channel their power?" I speak to myself. "How the heck do I do that?" I start panicing for a moment, before having a sudden realisation. "Well, what do I do to get ready?" I take a few moments to recall...
I focus on a favourite memory of mine. Of just flying, floating in the air. The warm breeze feels dreamy, too good to be true. Clouds lazily flow past. I just register someone nearby. The moment, that exact moment feels just so.. right.
That's what I'll do. Just tell them to relax, focus on one thing. A memory, an object, a person. Something that they fight for.

 

Still running at fast, but somewhat slow speed, Raven is almost there. "Damn it, if only my leg wasn't wounded, almost there..." Raven said.

 

"Well." Ella said, struggling to find an inspirational message amongst her cloudy mind.
"It was not long ago, when Temor was happy place." She looked around, "A safe place. That was before The Shroud came. Before it awoke the undead, to destroy our home. It's power is strong, and it can not be defeated unless all of us work together! We must combine our talents and destroy this beast. You all know, that the matter of whether you will come out of this alive, is not guaranteed. But as you do this, do it for Temor, for the ones we knew and loved, the ones that fell. For the elves. For life to be the way it used to. For the sake of our race." She paused, before her voice grew in volume, "We will not let our home fall, and we will not let The Shroud win! So I ask you, fight with every ounce of you!"
"We must stay strong, we must take back Temor!"

//oh noes an inspirational speech...... Yeah that kinda failed.... Oh well xD

 

When everyone was ready to go Lark cried out, "Ok Group A to the ridge lets go! All the ammo and the and the supplies! Lets go! Lets go!" He watched as the archers hurried up to the ridge to meet Ugos and Light.

"Ok Group C and Aspathe behind the fort! Come on! Remember your spells! Come on!" Lark would be grinning if he had a face, or a mouth.

"You heard me Group B! Get to the battlefield! Me and Ella will be right behind you!"
"See you battleside sir!" yelled a fully armoured heavy elf before he rushed into battle.
"Ok Ella lets get down there," Lark muttered.

//Remember Group A led by Ugos and Light with the catas and archers wait for Group B led by Lark and Ella's signal, then Group B rushes out from the bushes and Group C with Aspathe comes up from the rear.

 

Light works together with Ugos till all the preparations are ready. "Yanno, Ugos why arnt we just all charging in there and fighting?" Light scratches the back of his head and laughs

 

When Lark and Ella got down to the bushes where group B was hiding he coordinated with them, "Ok on my mark, 3, 2, 1, MARK!" Lark shot a dark bolt into the sky as a signal to group A with the catapults to open fire, the sky was filled with the roars and screams of men charging towards the zombies. Lark saw a large zombie plow through a squad of elven militia, then turned to see a heavy guard elf struggling with a group of zombies, it was not long until he submerged under the rotting flesh, he saw a zombified elf staggering towards another one as he was forced to ram his spear into him. "We WILL win back the elf town," he thought to himself.

 

Ugos to turned to light, easily hefting a 10kg boulder. "I reckon we'll be allowed to have a bit of fun ourselves. If not...," He heaved the boulder, downing a stray zombie, "I can be quite persuasive. Ehehe."
He looked down to see Ella being surrounded, and with a gasp he raised his arms and brought stalagmites up, impaling them all.
"Got ya back, lass!"

 

"Ugos!, Lets just get our primary part of the misson done with i have something i want to try!." Light said with a grin while assisting the archers and catapults

 

Ella grinned at the Orc. "I had that you know." She fired a few bolts of light at the zombies, sending them to the ground.

 

Raven arrives. "Heh, looks like the fun's started!" Raven said with confidence. He ran at lightspeed, and charged at several zombies. They were reduced to nothing but pieces. He then repeats his speed attack against the other zombies.

 

Fresh streams of zombies poured out from the fort, Lark turned to see Raven dealing with some zombies, "Ah Raven! Pleasure you could join us!' He said with a light tone in his voice, but it was wiped off his face when he turned to see a gargantuan zombie which proceeded to decapitate him. His skull went flying, bounced off a zombie and landed in Ella's hands, "this is very dignifying," muttered Lark's skull sarcastically.
