[WiP] Retro Texture Pack : Nostalgia !

Hi guys, i was just playing King Arthur's gold , when i saw how the game looks actually. I'm not criticizing !
I just remember how KAG looked before, you know, during the older builds (like build 28 or 40..) Moreover, i guess that i'm not the only nostalgic player..

It's why , i've made that retro texture to back up this nostalgia. I've just picked up some textures from build 28.

(¯`·._• Installation •_.·´¯)​

-> For Window :​

• Download this file and save it
• Go to C:\KAG
• Delete the Base folder
• Put the new Base folder (located in file that you've just downloaded) in the KAG folder.

-> For Mac​

• Find the KAG app
• Right click on it + Show packages contents
• Go to Contents\Macos
• Delete the Base folder
• Put your new Base folder (located in the fill that you've just downloaded) in the Macos folder

​

-> For the additional content (Retro bubbles) :​

(you will need to install the Base folder before)​

• Go in your Sprites folder
• Delete the "bubble" file
• Put the "Retro bubble" file in your Sprites folder
• Rename it as "bubble"

​

Download ​

• Get your retro texture pack here(version 1.2)
• Also with additional content (retro bubbles) here (version 1.2)

(those files could be too heavy for you, but it's easier to install than before)​

UPDATE ​

Version 1.1 :​

• Archers, knights and builders no longer have blue highlights on their body.

• Add new doors : less retro than the other, but a bit less contrasted with trapdoors (Look at the picture) I don't know how to explain

• Delete Female class : Sorry girls, but remember, at this time, KAG used to be played without Females..

Pretty nice! I think i'm gonna use it, I feel like i'm playing an older game with this, dat good feel.

[EDIT]~ I tried it and i've seen some things to fix.
- The TeamPalette like ParaLogia said before.
- The sprite don't have every side of the shield because old sprites didn't have these sides before.
- The parachute shield is not in the sprite too for the same reasons.

[EDIT2]~ Some screens to explain;

In the second picture, i'm shielding at (down-right) but it's does not show it) Same for (down-left).

Feel so bad right now, I readed the 'know bugs' only now. :(

LucasTT : Are you kidding me ? I did'nt know that Geti was going to unlike this post..Well..
WarrFork : Thanks for your pictures, I already knew the "Parachut Shield" bug, i just forgot to put on the list..
Moreover, In build 28, you were not able to use your shield as a parachute. So i need to pick up this Sprite in a recent build, then, put it in the Sprite of my texture. But i also need to make this sprite as retro as the other..

Don't worry guys, i promise that i will NOT give up this project ! Trust me. ;)

Actually, i'm working on bugs fix. Moreover i just swapped the doors beetween also retro doors :

I swapped because there was a big contrast of color with doors and trapdoors .

 

....this brings a tear down my eye...
