RP- The Shroud descends

Lark ignored her words, then creeped behind her, when the time was right he grabbed her by the chest. Trying to bring her to the ground, a struggle ensued.

 

"HEY!" She swung her elbow around, aiming for his skeletal head.

 

Light continued to walk back to temor in the direction the commotion was going on.
//You guys wont be able to recognize him now since hes wearing a robe/knight helm with a one armored arm and a tattoo arm now. :p My character goes through way to many changes LOL

BOOM! The castle exploded into burning chunks of rock.
"RAVEN!" screamed Aspathe.
Dirt flew and the air smelt of ash as the rocks hit the ground. She covered her head with her arms in an attempt to protect herself from the dirt.
"RAVEN!" she screamed again. She kept yelling his name until her throat was raw.

 

Raven descended from the sky, unharmed. He got out of his super form.

 

//erm... I never got out my bow, and since you can't control my character, that never happened xD

 

Raven descended from the sky. He turned back into his normal self. He turned around to see the destruction of the castle.

Lark stepped back towards a lake, and his old nemesis Hydron, jumped out of the water. Hydron grappled him and took him to the ground, they struggled together until Lark's grip started to slip, he was picked up and thrown into a tree. Lark turned around to have a fist to the face then a talon through the skull, shattering it."Destroy the brain," Hydron scowled, "destroy the consciousness," Hydron had ruthlessly killed Lark, "go elven girl, or you'll share his fate."

Light hears a furious battle going on and walks into that direction.

 

//you really want to die, eh

 

"Lark?!" Ella yelped, she would of ran up to the stupid sea monster, kicked it, punched it, shot it. But it was no use, Lark was already gone... But he can't be! He is...Invincible... Her brow creased, Was. Was invincible. "You..."
A sharp neigh echoed through the trees. "Marvel?" Ella looked up to see the Pegasus gliding down. She took a last look at the sad remains of Lark, "Oh you old fool of a skeleton," She sighed sadly, before hopping atop Marvel. She could shoot the sea creature from here... But Marvel swooped up, seeming to decimate her plans.
They glided across the treetops, back towards Temor. It wasn't going to be the same without him... This was a reminder of the cold fate of us all. These crazy adventures... Looks like we can't always come out of them.

"We have to get out of here!" Aspathe screamed, running towards Raven. Her eyes locked onto a larger than average piece of castle. She grabbed Raven's hand and started dragging him.

 

"Okay! Just hold on!" Raven said, he then grabbed Aspathe's hand, and ran back to Temor at lightspeed.

 

Light sees everyone running past him quickly. Light puts his arms behind his head and looks behind him. "Jeez.. these guys.." Light sighs to himself while walking back.

 

Lark thought he was gone, he was… right? Lark looked down but couldn't see his body, he realised he was a conscience. Lark was a smallish cloud of… foggy unknown substances, Lark couldn't hurt people, but they couldn't hurt him. Lark wondered if he could morph into Lord Skorge, it worked, but he couldn't control it. He sensed Ugos's dismay, and started to fly there to feed on it.

 

The expression on Ugos' rock was that of inescapable torture. He couldn't drag his eyes away from the scene. A small rock crab scuttled beneath his feet. He picked it up, oblivious to the indignant nips, and hurled it as far as he could, just to HURT something. Eventually he turned away from the wreckage, and wondered... wondered WHO had done this. Who would deplete an entire race... And why?

 

Marvel swooped down into Temor. Ella hopped off, spotting Raven and Aspathe. "Looks like you made it out then.." She said, trying to be upbeat. She scuffed the ground with her foot, how could she put this?
She raised her head. "Lark... didn't make it."

 

Lord Skorge landed with a deafening thud, right in the middle of the clearing, he walked towards Ugos, brandishing his sword. "Lark is dead," Lord Skorge scowled to him, preparing to attack, little did he know that Lark was just a conscience.

 

Ugos turned his bloodshot eyes to the crazed skeleton beside him. He looked beaten.
Shuddering...
"I'm.. sorry..."
"I didn't want it to end...this way..."
And with that, he drew his sword, twisted it sideways, and impaled himself in the chest. His eyes glazed over and he fell sideways.
