Remote administration (tcp rcon)

Well, I tried just using a fresh copy of server (without any custom config). It works. But I cant find out, why. Thought that maybe because of different seclevs setting - but nope. Tried replacing just KAGdedi executable - nope.

 

So does this mean I can't run a server on windows now? That sucks.

 

No it means that if you do run it in windows you cant use this feature

 

But I can't run the server, it crashes.

I got similar problem as SnIcKeRs, but server not crased. It's just stop responding after several msg commands.

Yer cos I added some custom ones, the server works with it yesterday but when my kag updated it didn't work.

 

Yeah, right now you can't run Windows server without having it crash.

 

i was really excited when i saw the blog entry, but now when i see its not available on Windows and it makes my server crash i am a big sad panda :(

 

It seems to be working.
What exactly does v_driver do?
EDIT: It doesn't work, but at least it doesn't crash anymore...
I open dedicatedserver.bat it loads (no crashing!) and KAG opens in some kind of spectator mode where I am not able to do anything.
I can't find my server in the browser, can't connect to it and I can't find it on kag.ques.to either.

 

That feature still doesnt work on updated servers (worked only on fresh copy of Linux dedicated downloaded from KAG website download link). What should I do?

 

Do fresh copy for all of your servers, simply copy over important configs.

 

....I could come up with such solution by myself. Meh. Next time make updates compatible backwards with configs -.-
