After some weeks of work in the coding trenches by our dear BorderKeeper, we have a website set up. I think it is quite awesome:

This is how it looks. We have the ArL banner at the top, then a line with the involved clans. Under that, we find the scoreboard as well as the number of matches remaining.
The bottom part consists of a list of upcoming and past matches there for you to look it. At a glance, you can see the date and time, the result in brackets([]), and how many hours remain until the match starts. The little lights at the right indicate if there's a live stream available, if it's green, you can use it as a link to directly be forwarded to the recording of that match.
At the very end of the page, we find a login page for the clan leaders and me. This leads to the private part of the website where matches can be organised.
We are working on a feed to be displayed at the dev blog page, that might be set up soon.

Now, any kind of info you need you can easily grab by visiting this website. Ain't that nice?

 

How is the mercenary team getting set up? Is it still possible for people to join there?

 

I have some guys working on that who are responsible for recruitment. We have pretty much no requirements but skill and activity on that. Info on who to contact will be posted here soon. : )

invite-only sucks imo, everybody should be able to participate..

But then there are people that would join but never participate. Or annoying little kids would join and always complain.

 

what's the goal of making invite-only tournaments then ? there are a lot of team (not little kids) which could participate and may even win this.
this is not competitive at all.. and it demotivate other teams
