You can't tell a frenchie not to build that building and why. If an english person doesn't write anything worth reading, at least he can read what you're writing.

What if they understand english but they just don't bother replying? Probably only 10% of the players writes something in the chat in a match, often people don't watch the chat window...
And what's the difference between a guy who's not caring about what the others are saying and a guy who doesn't understand anything? To be coherent, should't we kick also the guy who's doing nothing bad, but isn't replying?

And try to put yourself in a person like me, who may invite an italian friend to have a match in some euro server, and use the chat to communicate in italian not to be unpolite or lazy, but just because i'm saying nothing important for others.
And then suddenly the server admin tells us to talk in english or get kicked. Why should someone force us to talk in another language? Why would he even bother? Why can't i just talk to my friend in my language, i'm saying nothing of interest the the other people!
    That's cruel, mean and evil.

That's what i think about language.

    1. The server owner should kick people who are not communicating at all, and are being useless. Theoretically, a server owner would then kick an english person if he's not doing those things.

    2. This isn't racism, but at least someone who speaks english can understand what i'm saying to them, such as "don't build that stupid building" or "attack with me at the front!". If a server owner wants to make a server where people can actually communicate with each other 100% of the time, regardless if they do or not, that's his choice. It's not cruel, mean or evil. It's elitist, sure, but it's perfectly valid.

    3. We're not talking about euro server, no-one can kick you there, simply because it's established that it's the whole of europe, meaning everyone from europe is allowed and welcome in fact. We're saying that if an "English-only" server popped up, you shouldn't really join it unless you can speak some english. Not fluent, but at least something to tide you over. It is like this on EVERY fps MMO, seriously.

    4. No-one is forcing anyone to learn another language!. All we are saying, is that if a server owner wants to kick people who don't speak english, he can do so. He's not going to say to them "LEARN ENGLISH NAOW" that's not what a kick is. All a kick is saying "You can't play here." it doesn't mean "You can't play anywhere".

Euro server was a generic european server, i wasn't refferring to the official euro server.
Of course what i wrote was just my opinion. I'm not pretending anyone agrees with me... xD

Server owners should dictate the rules they wish to see enforced on their server.

I don't want any one forced to do anything. Any one can use whatever language they want, so long as the server admin is ok with it. But I've had too many team mates stuck and unable to undertand my solutions. Get's frustrating.

I mostly just want people to take the default language of the server into consideration. The smilies can only say so much.
