has anybody ever played clonk? It's quite popular here in Germany. here is some information about it:

Me and my brothers played it like shit when we were younger.

 

Yeah I did think it odd there isn't a WASD configuration. I might edit it to change it.

The game is notoriously hard, even the first mission is giving me a headache trying to beat it.

Aside from that, it'd be awesome if we could set up some multiplayer games.

 

Few questions: Is it possible to configure it to WASD?
Is there actually multiplayer?

 

Yes and yes.

It is quite challenging, but I'm starting to develop some effective ways of survival. And yes, would love to play that with other people, funfails and other good stuff guaranteed. :D We could gather on IRC, I can set up a server though we need someone who bought the game to set up the server..

Or we can try out the older games, they're free. It seems the only big difference between Endavour and Rage is better network code, gameplay is the same. Not exactly worth the 15 euros if we just wanna mess around, but I'd gladly support the devs anyway if I weren't constantly broke lately.. ;p

Ok so Clonk Endaveour is unplayable, lags like hell (the game goes into constant slow motion). OpenClonk plays great, but it's a fighting game only, we want to build too. So Rage is the only option, but we are too poor for it currently. ;p

 

Ahhh, I remember this game, I played it awhile back, might try it again.

 

I remember this game too... i remember when it came out in german once Gamestar advertised it for the dev.

Clonk Planet (which i played) was so awesome at this time, if MM didnt knew it till now, he may should check it out, cauze theres some interesting stuff which might works for KAG too, for example : zeppelin (how suggested already by turtle & me) then i like those animals/monsters they have on maps or the mining elevator, clonk is just awesome, who didnt try it, should give it a try for some houres to see what i mean, this game's so familiar to KAG somehow^^

PS : KAG is better ofc ;)

 

I was thinking you could create bombs by collecting flint pieces in the ground. I like that from clonk, it seems cool.
