    Game seems to be advertising a whole new everything while trying to bring a new global concept of everything just all wrapped up in a MMO/notMMO package.

    Thoughts?

    I am very skeptical. It says it can be played on any platform, including phones. I am having trouble believing such scope can be achieved while retaining the gameplay appealing. Also, it seems to be a simulation of the real world, which is kind of contradicting on what games are meant to be. I personally don't want to play a game that is essentially a copy of my own life, except without the benefits.

    If they can create a working, PLAYABLE simulation of medieval combat with realistic physics, I will be impressed.

    Eh, sounds more like wishful thinking and what-ifs (or a very, very, very, very, very long term goal. Like, imagine this dude passing on the task of creating the game to his children when he dies) than an actual project.

    If they have a planet the size of earth, how densely populated would it be? How many fucking days would I have to walk to the next village?

    Now take those same questions to a scale the size of the universe.

    The very concept of the game is doomed, and I hope they at least scale down their targets to give it some kind of a chance of not actually disappointing everyone who ever got hooked on the very idea of it.

    See, this isn't even wishful thinking... This is just putting forth probably ideas about a game that's probably never going to come to fruition. Take KAG's Overworld idea for example. We were promised something that's a FRACTION of the scale of this Universe Project crap... And the devs abandoned it because it was too grandiose. Can you imagine the amount of work they're going to have to do? It just isn't feasible.

    @bone: tbh, I'm not gonna give the project the time of day until they actually have something to offer. if they do, then perhaps we can get interested. If not, then it's really not even worth the oxygen it takes to think about. :P
