Here goes little feedback for [user]jackitch[/user]. First of all it's a sham that people didn't like one-way tunnels . I really enjoyed them, at least I could be sure that my base is safe and, after all, it worked well for me. Now, since we have two-way tunnels back, could it be possible to return possibility of locking tunnels? It would be much helpful.

I have also come up with an idea I thought I could share with you. What would you guys say about changing the default class on join from builder to let's say knight? I think it could really decrease the number of those idiots who just join server, don't know shit and start building shit structures all around or, even worse - dig tunnel under your tent. And, could it be possible at all to do it?

 

Make them spawn as Archer, and they'll be useless, so Knight it is. ;)

There was initial confusion for many builders, who, instead of seeing it as basically 2 separate one-way tunnels for each team, accessible by each tunnel pointed that way (what it actually was), they thought it was a single tunnel where each entrance just moved you left or right to the next entrance. But, after understanding this, it boiled down to most tunnel entrances being built in pairs, one pointing left, one pointing right. Honestly, as long as you can lock entrances, the only reason to have a one-way entrance is so that you can have one inside of your base, even right next to the flag, and not have to worry about defending it (assuming that no enemies find their way in before having destroyed any other of your tunnels on the map).

I personally would like to see a mix of the two. Left-only and two-way entrances can go left to the closest left-only or two-way entrance, right-only and two-way entrances can go right to the closest right or two-way entrance. Plus locking entrances. And to balance it out, the two-way entrances cost double the gold.
