    Just going to compile a short list of things that it seems many builders don't know.
    1. You can switch class at your base or an outpost with the "E" key. There are two other classes, both of which are useful, and because many teams are overrun with builders, you're probably better off with one of the others.
    2. At the beginning of each round there's a small timer displayed in the middle of the screen that will tell you when the round begins. When the round begins, it's much better to assist your team at the front lines than continue building defenses. The team that is effectively playing offense is beating the team playing defense.
    3. You can make ladders. Most of the time, you will be assisting your team better by placing ladders so your teammates can get past enemy defenses, than if you stayed back building a huge spike pit and left your teammates to slice their way through solid rock.
    4. You can prepare for a push. So maybe you're a good builder helping at the front lines, but your current fortifications are holding up well and you can't build anything forward yet. You can go get more resources so that when your combat buddies do push forward, you can build a nice wall behind them so that you save the progress they made.
    5. Archers need height. Build a small ladder system that overlooks your wall, and voila! Now your archers have a much easier time aiming and holding off the oncoming knights. For the cost of a few ladders, you are going to save your team a ton of stone repairing your nice thick walls.
    Feel free to add important advice.

    6.Don`t place 10 doors next to each other on exit out of castle or in wall.It only slow down players!Make the every second block and place wall block in between.
    XIXIX X=doors I=empty space
    7.Don`t loose time building 50 blocks thick 20 blocks high walls.When you build them at warmup,go really thick on ground and as you raise the wall,leave first stone block empty and make 3 blocks high row,and repeat.
    Something like this;

    ####
    ####
    ####
    ######
    ######
    ######
    ########
    ########
    ########
    More blocks down=higher wall.

    8. It's always faster building ladders up a wall with a space left every ladder. You should be hopping up each one. Movement through continuous ladders is a pain and no-one likes to do it.

    9. If theres a common area where knights are jumping down onto your teammates, put some ladders down above them. Every knight that jumps down will be stopped by the ladder, and will deal no damage to your own knights. (can work in the opposite way though)

    10. You can still block drop. Just build two pieces of stone with the second one in the area you want to drop the stone, and remove the first piece of stone, and the second drops down. Can be useful on top of mountains, as builders often ladder up the other side, the single block will destroy all the ladders (or most of them) with little risk destroying them manually.

    On the front lines, especially through mountains, don't fill your side with ladders if the enemy is constantly pushing through, this allows them to push through your side and climb up easily. When possible, using doors or bridges to make a ladder is much more effective at keeping a base that is at the top of the mountain.

    12. Build catapults in heights, not behind your castles, so that they will have some range.

    13. Ladders slow down everyone thus can make an effective killzone in front of a well defended wall.

    14. If you don't see an enemy on your screen you should not fire a catapult.

    15. Layered tower walls of alternating ladders and stone is a cost effective way to make a tower, instead of a fully stone based tower.

    16. A good spike trap will most of the time not be equal to a good wall in effectiveness for defense.

    17. If you find gold, store it near the forward outpost in order for subsequent forward outpost creation to be more efficient.

    19. Stop building layered traps, THEY DONT WORK! basically speaking a SPIKE NEED A SOLID BLOCK TO FUNCTION!

    20. When the timer for warm up less than 30 seconds, STOP BUILDING, READY, STEADY, GO!!!

    ok, lets put it like this, if a spike will hurt u at least, say, 1 heart of life, but if a knight fallen into 5+ layered traps but only taking spike + falling damage (sometimes they die due to purely because of falling damages).

    taking account all the observation I've gathered ever since I returned to KAG... 10 days ago... I believe layered traps doesnt work anymore, its true they USED to work, but it seems not anymore.

    Proof; this is 1st set of simple 3-layered trap, because drawbridge will open when enemy is close, it would be as like there is no solid block below the spike rendering the spike useless, why Im not doing it with real drawbridge well there is no need there, using simple logic then you would understand how the game works really, not really that hard;

    another set of improvising, using the logic of drawbridge as non-solid block for most of opposing team, even if you put all spikes not matter 5 layers or 10 layers, the only spike that will hurt the opposing team is the only spikes attached to a solid block;

    I knew this for a while now, in fact seriously guys? its pretty easy to notice if it works or not...

    21. You cannot destroy bedrock. You are a builder not a knight with bombs. SO STOP HITTING IT! :huh?:

    22. You are the only one with a bare chest... thus you are the weakest. You can't damage a knight. But you can still kill an archer in close quarters combat.

    23. Building a large tent castle is not as efficient as building forward walls, ladder rushing, repairing, or building outposts. You are a liability to the team when you stay back to build.

    24. When you have bit of time, build TRAPBRIDGE ladder. Why not ladders/doors?
    Wooden Ladders: Enemy can climb it too(duh.)
    Doors: Minecrafters just LOVE place them. But they are not good as they look :F.
    25. Remember about overhangs - this will prevent [enemy] archers getting on top of buildings.

    26. Remember that you spawn with 50 wood, thats enough to put down 5 team bridges which could be used as a 'your team only ladder'.

    27. You can carry past the 250 resource carry limit by pressing C to pick up resources that have become item drops.

    28. Dirt and other tiles are not affected by catapults.

    29. Door/Ladders (going vertically, stone, door, stone, door, stone, door, etc.) are more useful than Bridge/Ladders on a given stone wall. With B/L's, bombs can still be throw between the bridges, destroying the closest top and bottom bridges, and teammates will not be able to climb back properly. So at the beginning, make use of the resources and use only Door/Ladders on sides of walls!

    30. If trying to destroy a large structure from below (topple), use bombs on the last few blocks, as well as have someone in the back to protect you.
    31. If in a tunnel system, pair up 1 knight and 1 archer, the knight can hold back forces while the archer goes behind said knight and shoots through into enemy forces. A charged arrow can stun a blocking knight, giving just enough time for your knight buddy to strike the opponent if you two are good teammates.
