    So what are the launch titles that aren't Killzone, some racing game, Infamous or a port?

    The worst think is you will not be able to transfer things you bought on Playstation Network on PS3 to the PS4.
    They said it was about compatibility issues, of course... it's all about money and making us buying again like retards.

    Yeah, its about the money.
    You used to be able to play PS2 games on PS3 because they literally put a piece of PS2 hardware in the old PS3's, which allowed you to play the PS2 games on it.
    But later it was removed like you said because of the cost it added.
    BUT they did mention that if you put in a PS3 disc that you would be able to stream the game from a cloud server.

    Didn't they show a cinematic trailer for Infamous?

    You would still have your PS3 to play them on lol... I'm glad they didn't try to add backwards compatibility like early PS3s as that would just drive up production costs (and greater costs to us).

    Nothing I wasn't really expecting from all this; Sony is experimenting with some new gizmos which may or may not matter but in the end they're still going to be giving us a more than competent box for playing games (and movies and music and internet and whatever).

    J love consoles ,but the most j like is PS. This console comes out in 2014 !!!
    Then games will be super epic more than now. :D

    but my 800 Euro custom build computer is already twice as powerful as that thing, in that regard consoles are WAY behind.
    PC will always stay the best.
    tablets will always suck.

    Its also about the game library you know.
    Most anime fans buy PS for the JRPG's.
    But yeah, the hardware isn't nearly as great as a decent PC.

    it will use the same architecture as PCs, so the same games should work on both platforms.
    It's nice to see consoles finally giving up and killing themselves :P

    It always makes me laugh when a retard talks about his super mega cool PC that costed half the price of my house and how fucking awesome it is and he can play Call of Duty on max.

    I actually don't have enough space to keep 2 consoles in my room (my PS2 is already in my parents' bedroom) and I still have plenty of PS3 games to finish/buy and finish.

    But it is backwards compatible, or at least that is what they did promise.

    But no, it's about NOT having a fucking PS2, PS3, and PS4 in my house, make it backwards compatible fuck, no one wants to have all of these consoles to play games on from the same person all connected at the same time. I mean there goes 2 HDMI slots (PS3 and PS4) and one other slot (PS2) on my TV to play all the games the came out with that should be available anyway.

    As for compatiblilty issues, yeah, okay, sure, you guys believe that shit.

    "Hey I coded this system, and now I coded a new one. They're not compatible and I can't make them compatible despite having the source code to both so that I could do it and make the new one that isn't even fucking out yet compatible" Totally fucking believable \o/
