Cool story and all but I think it is up to the admin/guard on a server to decide what is acceptable and what is crossing the line.
And if all people that build useless buildings were banned it would be pretty empty right now.

For every idiot on the other team that stops and bitches for an hour, I literally just won the game that much easier.

Not to mention it actually happened to work out very well, I removed blocks that weren't necessary and got the shape, of course the inside was BACKGROUND wall/wood wall.
"I flipped it around and turned it 45 degrees, it deserves a new name"

Yeah okay, I'll turn the star of david, cross, and a rectangle 45 degrees.

I can now name these shapes something different and claim that it is mine, right?

Alright, I can clearly see there's no point in discussing this with you.

Like you bone, i find the whole argument irrelevant, i mean..
Why would you spend time on building something absolutely useless while you could be out in the battlefield fighting.
All symbols are utter shit in KAG.

But still, i don't quite believe you when you say the first thing you connect a cross to is the millions of people Christianity killed over centuries, i bet you think of the church.
Oh and just saying, Christianity may have killed like... let's say 1 billion people over the course of let's say...1700 years.
WW II casualties were ~70 million in 6 years, so... you do the math.

You're about as bad as the ones who build the swastikas with a purpose to offend.
    1. The Swastika is offensive because it symbolises (mainly) the deliberate genocide of a race of people.
    2. What millions of people killed in the name of Christianity? The Crusades? The Crusades were mainly to recover the Holy Land (Jerusalem) that had been lost hundreds of years ago to the Arabs during the fall of the Eastern Roman Empire. Basically they were fighting to regain their own land.
    3. I agree on the point about annoying 'Bible Christians' handing out flyers. Still, you have to admire their tenacity.
    4. Maybe you find crosses more offensive because you aren't connected to the Third Nazi Reich? As in lost your grandfather, family house/mansion/whatever got bombed by Germans, had your whole family gassed by the Nazis, etc. The Nazi Regime was very brutal and terrible, far more than the crosses ever did. If you compare the casualties of WWII and the Crusades over the total elapsed time of the conflicts (just as Juaro had said), you will find out which cost the most lives.
Somehow, I always connect you (BlueLuigi) and utter disrespect on the forums and sarcasm, along with posting comments that are somewhat useless. We are here to discuss and come to understand the topic (Nazi symbols in kag), not flame/ rage at/blabber at/ whatever at others.

Oh noes... I'm about to have a bomb dropped on me by BlueLuigi... again. :QQ:
We all do, delanski. The meaning behind the swastika is horrible.

I think some people here must use a time machine just to see what really happened on that time.
Ask Area 51 for the time machine.
We should focus to a good community, not sh*t selfish community that only focuses on what they want.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------
For information about the History of Swastika
The word "swastika" comes from the Sanskrit svastika - "su" meaning "good," "asti" meaning "to be," and "ka" as a suffix. Until the Nazis used this symbol, the swastika was used by many cultures throughout the past 3,000 years to represent life, sun, power, strength, and good luck.
    A Change in Meaning

In the 1800s, countries around Germany were growing much larger, forming empires; yet Germany was not a unified country until 1871. To counter the feeling of vulnerability and the stigma of youth, German nationalists in the mid-nineteenth century began to use the swastika, because it had ancient Aryan/Indian origins, to represent a long Germanic/Aryan history.
By the end of the nineteenth century, the swastika could be found on nationalist German volkisch periodicals and was the official emblem of the German Gymnasts' League.
In the beginning of the twentieth century, the swastika was a common symbol of German nationalism and could be found in a multitude of places such as the emblem for the Wandervogel, a German youth movement; on Joerg Lanz von Liebenfels' antisemitic periodical Ostara; on various Freikorps units; and as an emblem of the Thule Society.

    Hitler and the Nazis
In 1920, Adolf Hitler decided that the Nazi Party needed its own insignia and flag. For Hitler, the new flag had to be "a symbol of our own struggle" as well as "highly effective as a poster." (Mein Kampf, pg. 495)
On August 7, 1920, at the Salzburg Congress, the red flag with a white circle and black swastika became the official emblem of the Nazi Party.
In Mein Kampf, Hitler described the Nazis' new flag: "In red we see the social idea of the movement, in white the nationalistic idea, in the swastika the mission of the struggle for the victory of the Aryan man, and, by the same token, the victory of the idea of creative work, which as such always has been and always will be anti-Semitic." (pg. 496-497)
Because of the Nazis' flag, the swastika soon became a symbol of hate, antisemitism, violence, death, and murder.
What Does the Swastika Mean Now?

There is a great debate as to what the swastika means now. For 3,000 years, the swastika meant life and good luck. But because of the Nazis, it has also taken on a meaning of death and hate.
These conflicting meanings are causing problems in today's society. For Buddhists and Hindus, the swastika is a very religious symbol that is commonly used. Chirag Badlani shares a storyabout one time when he went to make some photocopies of some Hindu Gods for his temple. While standing in line to pay for the photocopies, some people behind him in line noticed that one of the pictures had a swastika. They called him a Nazi.
Unfortunately, the Nazis were so effective at their use of the swastika emblem, that many do not even know any other meaning for the swastika. Can there be two completely opposite meanings for one symbol?

It seems you always do, but since your first posts on this forums they were literally all the equivalent of a babbling 12yo, you literally vomit the word 'entitled' and what it means in the industry today, you pretty much reek of a 10 year with an iPhone who thinks he's a big boy cause he can play games on the internet now.

Now wait, hold the fucking line.

SO basically if I kill millions of people to get my land back it's okay?

I'm sure Native Americans will remember this one well. Could you not say Germany was doing something similar in this sense? It's not like the people that were inhabiting the 'holy land' (who's to fucking say it was their land they took it from someone in the first place), were attacking the Christians, what were they doing, not giving it back? You know how far they traveled for the 'crusade', how many peoples they killed ALONG the way who were irrevelent? Come the fuck on, and there were like 4 crusades!

    3. I agree on the point about annoying 'Bible Christians' handing out flyers. Still, you have to admire their tenacity.
No you fucking don't, we can put no solicitation signs in front of our businesses and we can put ourselves on the Do not call registry but somehow we can't stop an idiot passing out flyers about his religion as if it's not so popular that by the age of 12 you know everything about it, but of course wasting all those trees to give people flyers that will end up in the trash and then in a dump is perfectly fine, they're all also printed by machines, wasting fuel, and most are laminated meaning they won't decompose nearly as easily, but it's okay, it's tenacious.

I have Jewish relatives, my family is quite diverse, I still don't see this to be a problem. I'm also half African American and don't find slaves or the word nigger offensive and I can trace that back in my lineage, I have a first cousin who is 1/2 Iranian, and I don't find insults to Middle Easterns offensive. At the end of the day the problem is how thick your skin is, little bitches who get offended by such things as seeing a swastika will always be offended, it's just like soccer moms sitting around, the only difference is they show they're offended in real life, you little kids are just as bad online. "I don't want this in my video game it offends me, I'm going to protest, blah blah I `maybe` paid $10, I deserve to never see this thing ever!"

At the end of the day, the rights in the matter come down to two things, your right to not be offended (oh no you're going to die), and everyone else's right to free speech. Guess why free speech wins out every time?

I took the liberty of writing it for you, since it's most likely going to be
"A swastika isn't free speech, free speech is what you say"
No it's not, if I yelled Swastika in your face for 4 hours straight you'd be more offended, cause you're whiny.

Now please stop posting your idiotic comments that are literally always "Yea I'm offended too maybe, or someone should be! Also haha this thing I think xD", they add literally nothing, you never answer any questions put forth (because you can't).
Yes, at the end of the day on any server despite KAG rules, the admin/owner of the server decides the rules, and those are to be followed as they are HIS rules, if he says you have to say "I love watermelon" when you join the server or you're banned, don't complain when you're banned, it's his server, he runs it.

Hence why I didn't lock it and instead told people to play nice. :huh?: I have no issues with controversial topics as long as they do not lead to flaming-- the thrust of my above post is to (hopefully) avert a trip down flamewar lane.

I used to do that, until I realized what it meant.

Isn't it kind of impossible to build a diagonal swastika on KAG, because of the blocks being square?

I haven't read whole thread and I'm not going to. We had conversation like this some time ago. It was as well a lengthy thread. We came up with solution which is stated somewhere in rules (at least I think it was) that you can build whatever you want (crosses, Hindu symbols, Jewish stars, whatever) as long as it doesn't offend anyone in the game. If one goes - look at me I'm a nazi - then that guy deserves a ban. Same goes for offending other religious symbols. You can build it but making fun of it to offend everyone else should be banned. At least that's what can be done global ban wise. Server owners can have their own rules about it and can enforce them however they want.

    delankski and Conquerer like this.
  19. Imo, though it's been said already, it's really just at the admins' discretion.
I personally remove any and all religious and ideological imagery that people build, and warn then kick then ban if they do it: it prevents others getting offended by any of these.
Naturally, I cop a lot of flak for that.

Never even said that people could disregard the basic rules of KAG, the admin/owner decides most rules and even stupidity like "I love watermelons" can get you banned.
They will just tell you to play in another server and avoid that one, isn't that the way how it works for most of the time regarding idiotic bans?
(thinking you was being sarcastic, was I wrong:p )
