What's your opinion on the upcoming KAG 1.0 combat?

Im looking forward to driving the ballista with my friend at an enemy group and shooting it at 5 knights in a line (oh god i hope the ballista penetrates :P) and getting a +5 in one shot

The archers bow movement looks just awful. I like the combat.. but the movement of the bow... its not right for a pixel game.. keep to the grid.

 

While it looks like an animation for a flash game it makes it easier to tell where archers are pointing, how many times has a single archer pointing sideways forced a group knights to cower in fear behind their sheilds?

 

I love all classes in beta and combat. Archer is too awesome to play with him.

 

I like how the new systems look, it has nice execution, and the new siege weapons look interesting.

 

Personally KAG is a really simple game which is why I love it, and that too many additions with make it "stuffed". I'll be happy If they just fixed up the bugs with people being flung everywhere.....

But seriously you have to admit that even with modding, old KAG is getting stale with its limited strategic options.

It's much, much better. :D

 

You can't even compare classic to 1.0, it's just better in so many ways.

 

But where else can us testers boast how good the combat is to the non-testers :c

 

Cant wait to get my hands on a balista.
