not any good ones, if you REALLY want a f2p mmo go for vindictious, but if you want an mmorpg in general i would say guild wars 2, and for a f2p game get team fortress 2

Perfect World International is one of the most popular 3D free to play MMORPGs. I'd recommend trying it out. A great character creator in it too.

    Age of Wushu is decent.

Neverwinter was just released but looks goofy. May be worth a try if you like that sort of thing.

I've heard about that, and it looks fun (i heard it had 156,000 diffrent possible swords LOL), but is it really good? i heard theres a level cap on the F2p

    EDIT:
    Quote from wiki:
'In Mortal Online, there are 142,662,744 different possible weapons.'

I wonder why no one mentioned TERA yet.

A friend of mine described TERA as softcore porn. I don't think he was far off.

Judging from the gameplay of Neverwinter, I think it is a pretty solid game. I also liked the graphics style and Tactics Ogre esque gameplay of the f2p Banner Saga game on Steam (not an MMORPG though).

You'reabout 10 years too late for that.

Whoever said Mortal Online, don't bother, game is shit, definition of pay 2win, you can't have more than 10g or carry anything owrth more than 10g on you with a free account (Tip: This means about 80% of the items in the game), you also can't even come close to pvping en masse with the regular stuff as you are limited on your characters items (due to the 10g limit), as well as others.

Oh and did I mention the huge memory leaks making it a game with WoW 2001 graphics that basically eats out my machine that can play Planetside 2 without a problem, I've seen it run slow on machines with 8GB of RAM cause the memory leak is huge, puts early versions of Firefox to shame.

The developers (I've spoken with them in IRC) don't care about this, they believe that they can fix it with more money so instead of just fixing it are putting efforts into getting more subscribers, they believe they can do this by forcing the game to basically be p2p while being able to brand it as f2p (they need more subs so they want you to sub and keep restricting), when I explained that this is probably having the opposite effect they disagreed.

Seriously don't bother with that shit.

This game almost puts FFXI's shitty earlygame to shame, extremely pay2win (as is everything by PWI including Neverwinter by the way), expect a mount (not the best just A mount) to run you $30-50, as it does now in Neverwinter, as it did in Rusty Hearts, as it did in Blacklight, as it does in PWI.

"But mounts are just cosmetic right?" Nope, they have more than 2x the speed of ingame mounts, some being even higher.

"But you can do anything with ingame money the same right?" Yes, at a ratio of like 8 days to 1 hour of minimum salary to pay it off, seriously the price you can get 1Zen for a diamond is stupid. First off 100 Zen = $1, 1 Zen is roughly 300-500 (500 when stable) Astral Diamonds. One player ingame can get a max of 2,400 AD a day.

Yeah well, i figured it was shit(mortal online), all the cool stuff was paid.

Currently on a 21-day trial for EVE, going to be a interstellar-trader-badass.
Loving it so far, pretty graphics, nice gameplay. probably will buy a month of subscription, and hope to pay for a PLEX in that time.

EvE is great, but make sure to plan ahead so that you don't have to SPEND money to keep playing. ;)

Tried out EvE and been reading about it a lot, mostly about the conflicts and things going on. Probably one of the only games I wouldn't like playing but love reading about.

Also, there's going to be "Pay2Win" to some extent in all F2P MMOs. That's why Guild Wars 2 is so great. Pay once for the game and don't feel obliged to purchase stuff in the cash shop.

Planning ahead is quite hard, i dont know wtf i am doing :D
I am just doing agent missions, but i already have 7 million ISK, given to me by the guy who gave me the buddy link(21-day trial).
Its really usefull, i get the point of trading.

Dofus, or wakfu. Are both games worth trying if you enjoy turn based combat, and being able to pay for your subscription with ingame money. Although the community over time has turned into shit. but if you ignore the community, make friends, and play with them. Its quite a fun experience.

This makes me sad, I recently reinstalled MO after hearing it went f2p because I missed sandbox MMOs and wanted to see what StarVault had improved in 2-3 years.
