    30. When a wall is often attacked/approached by enemies, it is often wise to place spike traps on the wall, enemies often jump in there or get pushed into it by knights/explosions (you can also couple them with layered floor ladders, when the ladder retreats the spikes attach to the wall and will still hurt anyone.) Just don't place them directly on teamdoors, otherwise your teammates can't use them from the spiked side.

    31. Don't forget backwalls! the frontwalls are often destroyed by knights, so having a good support is neccesary to not make the whole tower collapse. For small buildings they are not trivial but still can stop the enemies from killing all your teammates in it with a single swipe.

    32. Do not carry all your eggs in one basket. When you are going to pick up stored Gold Bullion to build an outpost up ahead, do NOT take more than 60, because in the event that you die, you will basically be throwing all the surplus gold to the enemy. Don't be a douche.

    33. If you, for whatever reason, are building a spike pit (Why are you doing this? They are not worth the effort) then at the very least, make sure it's wider than your usual 5-tile wide pit. Make it wide enough so the enemy can't just jump across to the other side.

    34. Try not to build outposts where it is easily taken by enemies or where you have no protection by your own knights. I've seen games turn because a builder decided to build a very forward outpost and told no one.

    35. During pre-game building, if you don't have anything in mind or there is not enough space to build, be useful! Build stacks of wooden doors behind the base outpost so that when the game begins, builders can scoop up wood more quickly than taking time to chop wood. By the time the game starts, you can have ~40-50 doors ready to be placed any where on the map!

You can no longer destroy friendly doors in one hit while open.

I *believe* that only applies to knights, to prevent accidental door destruction while charging, but i could be wrong!

    36. (general) when on a catapult getting ready to launch you are immune to fall damage if the support below you is destroyed.

Haven't been able to do it with builder either. I used to make door stackpiles on no-wood maps, but it quickly became near pointless when people would put stone over the doors thinking I was making an actual structure (Very annoying), and it took like 4 hits to get each piece of wood (still probably better than no trees, and a little worse off than trees)

I think the real reason is anti griefing. Most building designs have doors on the bottom and stone above. Therefore, to collapse the building you need to destroy the doors. Since open doors were so easy to destroy, they were a griefer favourite.

However, I don't really like this in hindsight. It means you have to stand a little away from the door in order to destroy it, i'd prefer if the door was still hittable while open but still takes 4 hits to destroy.

As for enemy doors, knights should be able to destroy all open ones in one hit.. it seems like it's hit or miss whether you can actually hit them when they are open.

    38. Place surface outposts as high as possible. Spawning time depends on distance from OP/tent, so placing it high allow you to join battle really quick after death (falling down is always faster than walking horizontally)

39.Dont place skybidges too high. ( all the knights and achers will get killed falling a huge distance.)
    40. Dont place skybridges too low. (the enemy can easily destoy it.)
    41. Make the ends of skybridges with bridge and reinforce them with back walls. (this wont let the enemy use your skybridge.)
    42. Always place skybridge at same height or above enemy skybridges especailly if yours is made up of stone.

I mean place the background wall sections above bridge so that no one can destroy it easily and if you use wood trap bridge the enemy will fall through it so its quiet safe.

    43. Rough up the terrain just outside your fortifications a little. Not only does this make it harder for them to bomb your base, but it also makes bomb-jumping a good deal harder to pull off.

Always, ALWAYS make the platforms above spike-traps double thickness.
This way, you can still freaking get across to the enemy sitting on the other side!
