eRepublik is a game where you play as a citizen in any country.

You can enroll in the army, start a company, even become President.

It's really fun, but i am only posting here to make sure people know about it on this forum.

Great, you sucked me into another game.

 

Don't play this. Admins are powerabusers, banned me on may 2009 because i was leader of a TO and the president of the country was friend of the admin. TOs never were illegal.

 

Wow this is intense. My military unit leader just got banned. I'm working my way up, but I'm getting bored now. It was fun before tho.

So you’re telling me that a game that simulates a republic has corrupt staff? Yeah. No surprises there. Corrupt in real life, corrupt in game. Haha! I’ll wait until they simulate another political system before playing something like this.

 

Grats on being incorrect. The game is just called eRepublik because it's a fun name. In all reality, it has every type of government. Most countries use their "default" government (The one they use in real life), because the players don't want it changed. So ie if a country IRL is a dictatorship, it's likely a dictatorship on there (but the dictators get cycled out via resistance wars rather than assassinations and natural death), and etc.

It's really worth trying. It's pretty fun and you only really need to check it once per day.
I leave it on all day and check in every once in a while because I have to keep an eye on the wars to help in my military unit.

Eh. Does it have monarchies and meritocracies? They are my favorite government systems.

 

It does somewhere, however the few countries I've visited so far have all been democratic.

 

I wonder if China has communism in eRepublik. :D
