    hey guys,

    its me, Landoo2...
as i palyed KAB i realized something... as i bought KAG.. there stood that there will come animails, i know that the devs said things like overwolrd mode and some items wont come, because their not fun or its useless.. i already know that there is a mod for rabbits but...
what about some animails like cats, dogs, or wolves?
i already made a suggestion that those could drop items for useing them to craft but you guys said you dont wanna get kag to minecraft... i can agree this, but the animails dont have to drop something.. so why dont they just run around? would look quite funny and would make the game some more like living ( i know this word is maybe not the rightone, but googletranslator said this )

so what is up with animails? will there be more than the bison and shark, an fish? or not?

i didnt want to suggest animails, they had already been suggested in this commercial pdf in the old classic...
i just wanted to ask if they will come up or if they wont.... so i think suggestions and ideas is the false section

Animals (at least in the amount you want them to be) are not in the game yet, thus this is a suggestion. Anyway, to answer your question the best I can. I don't know of any plans of adding more animals at the moment. There may or may not be more animals coming. This game is just in beta, there will be more stuff coming along.

Animals sound fun for Role Playing servers, even more fun if we can tame them! Sadly the only way I could imagine them being useful (if tamed) is if they serve a very specific role since using them for attack can become OP (riding bisons anyone?) or useless (imagine a wolf that just attacks and gets stuck in walls due to simple AI).

Plus, like farming, I don't think anyone will wish to have to babysit the animal during the whole match, it should be similar to taming a bison; invest some time and effort in to taming it and then it's yours and can quickly make use of it without any more fuss.

One idea is to add a flying animal that can be tamed and then used for a specific role (preferably non-combat).

For example, add eagles that can be found nesting in trees! At the start the eagle is neutral but should anyone start cutting their tree they could act as gregs (or gargoyles, forgot their names), hoisting the poor builder in the sky and then dropping him down to their doom.

From there the players could be given two options on how to deal with the eagles:

    1. Kill it, preferably with ranged weapons (bows, bombs, catas etc.)
    2. Tame it

Option number 1 should be straight forward but number 2 could be a bit more difficult depending on what role you would like the eagle to have: offensive, defensive or utility. Of course you can't have all three and being able to choose from the three might create a lot of trouble for scripting, thus it might be best to simply pick one role from the start and the eagle will perform ONLY that role.

Offensive role - the eagle can be tamed in a similar way as the bison (only that it eats fish, not burgers), any target that the player (who tamed it) attacks, the eagle will snatch the target, hoist it up then drop them from a deadly height.

Defensive role - in order to tame the eagle the player needs to cut down the tree where the eagle's nest is and build a special 'nest box' with it on the location they would like the eagle to defend (maybe on top of a high tower). From there a fish must be placed in the nest box and the eagle with be tamed. Be warned!!! If an enemy team player places a fish in the nest box the eagle would end up their pet.

Utility role - the taming process would be the same as that of the defensive role eagle, the only difference being that instead of hoisting up enemies the eagle would snatch any items from a large radius and bring it back to it's nest. For example: stacks of resource materials, crates, hearts, stacks of arrows or bombs.

Of course, the eagle could simply be added as an neutral animal that exists solely to annoy the sh*t out of players. That also sounds like fun.

EDITED: Just ignore this. By the time I posted this there was only Landoo2's first post and wasn't aware it got switched to the suggestion section. And yes I know it sounds like a suggestion but figured talking about it and sharing thoughts might start up some interesting discussions and ideas.

nice idea realian, as usually. i like your idea with the taiming of the eagle, but i think, making them to gregs is quite op..
maybe i just thouged for some animails in background... like birds...
bears or wolfes are a great idea. i would like that if they could be just offensive, but eagle is quite op..

Could simply keep it as a non-tamable animal that simply makes life harder for players. It would spice things up a bit I think.

I'd be all up for non-tamable animals that stand in the way of players and their halls, such as wolves, bears and even rams!

Wolves - always appear in a group of 3, they do little damage alone but can swarm players with normal attacks (no knockback or stun)

Bear - large creature with lots of health and medium damage that stuns when performing a large swipe (basically normal attacks and a charged attack similar to knight's charged slashes)

Ram - low damage creature with medium health that does small damage but knocks back players

Right now I'm imagining taming a ram, placing them in some spike filled pit and trick enemies in to falling in only to watch as the ram charges in to the enemies and pushes them in to the spikes on the walls. Or have a bear pit and watch your foes fight to the death for your entertainment. Overly complicated, I know, but still love the idea of having such pits filled with wild and dangerous animals.

Ah... the memories... time to start a new Dwarf Fortress. :B):

I think you may mean animals.ಠ_ಠ. (Your grammar makes me cry.)
But Animals sound like a good idea.We all know the creators are very busy looking at
others forum post BETA idea's so this may not be added in but worth a shot.
;I think they would be a good idea ONLY for a single player mini-game .
Possibly the creator's could add birds (For multiplayer and single-player)

    Bird's
    ________
Birds for realism. You wanna make this game good with a hint,
    of realism here and there.

  10. Better not be some lame small bird ;.;
