This i made cause i was board
(intentional grammar mistakes)
(what kind of idiot makes an archer cannon with a survival rate of less then 10%, (me))

The idea is best represented by this

the [T] are tunnels
the _ being any solid block
the ; being a block to grapple too, preferably a team bridge of the opposite color.
i would hope to eventually make some sort of challenge based on the interaction between grapples and enemy team bridges

You could also use a bridge instead of a trap block, as you can't build trap blocks of the other team.

 

trampoline may or may not work. I've died (in earlier versions) from falling on a trampoline and it not braking my fall. however you can attempt to grapple against walls or trees or falling into water may be enough to not kill you.

 

Is there a way to survive....

The tunnel bug still works! Instead of grappling then hitting e to tunnel, hit e then immediately grapple onto an object. When you teleport , the grapple is still attached. Requires a bit of timing. Still have some time to enjoy it before this gets fixed.

Anyone tried this with tunnels far apart from each other? That would be messed up.

Ok. Im doing this now. But im changing it.

Idea:

Build tunnel on one side of the map. Must be higher up.

Build tunnel on other side of map.

Do the same thing you did.

Now you can grappel yourself from one side of the map to the other.

 

I wish I had as much time as you guys...

Hacking not so much, but Griefing happens mate :/

Considering your point, a chicken cannon might actually be useful. Sending the chickens flying, laying eggs during the flight, would be a good distraction, and might help you make ground. The other team will be thinking 'WTF' and scratching their heads, focusing on wtf just happened, while you take down one of their forward towers.

I was thinking bout chikens cuz that way it would reduce the fall damage i think
