Me and the group of guys that I usaully play with have recently run into some problems, that being we have no new games to play and are tired of our usual group games.

So I ask does anyone know any good games for a group of 4-6 people?

The Realm of the Mad God is great fun with a group of friends, running around in the giant world and shooting at random things, though you probably already though of that.

Assuming you don't want to pay for games:
    War of Roses: http://store.steampowered.com/app/42160/
If you want a free version of Chilvary (Chilavary is a bit better combat wise, but War of Roses isn't too bad). Basically think of it as 3d KAG but without builders.

    Dungeons and Dragons Online: http://www.ddo.com/en
If you want an actually good F2P MMO then I recommend this and it's a pretty good time sink. All standard dungeons allow a party of up to 6 people. Raid Dungeons allow up to 12 (and you'll want all 12). Solo dungeons are obviously 1 person. If you do end up playing this, I recommend that your group picks up a Cleric and a Rogue. Cleric for obviously not dying and a Rogue for getting all the extra bonus XP, loots and secrets.

    Diablo 2 + Expansion
    Soldat
    Worms Armageddon
    Flatout 2
    Awesomenauts (3v3)
    Build and Shoot
Dwarf Fortress (playing a succession game will have hilarious consequences: http://lparchive.org/Dwarf-Fortress-Boatmurdered/ )
    Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe
    Killing Floor
Left 4 Dead + Left 4 Dead 2 (might want to play with 8 people, versus mode is very fun)
    Titan Quest
    Minecraft
    Age of Empires/Mythology / Starcraft
    Mound and Blade: Warband
GTA: San Andreas multiplayer (MTA / SAMP)
Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel (can be very fun rpg pvp matches especially if you play with low level characters)
Medal of Honor: Allied Assault (I dare you to play the Stalingrad map and say you didn't have fun)
Star Wars: Jedi Knight Jedi Academy (lightsaber combat is very good in that game, can be a lot of fun/wtf moments)
Unreal Tournament 2004 (my personal recommendation would be playing with the RPG mutator + Onslaught gamemode)
    Postal 2
    Castle Crashers

    Sub Rosa.
    Alien Swarm. (4 people)
    Pirates Vikings and Knights 2.
    No More Room In Hell.

You could also try using WinKawaks or a similar emulator with netplay.

You can set up your own server, its easy. Zero ping for yourself *wink*.
You can set up passwords for your server, and you can close it once you're done. May players as of now is 12 I think.
Gameplay is exciting if you have constant contact w/ teammates. The atmosphere is great for group gaming. Try it.

    Oh and its free.

Cobalt is really good too, but it only has local multiplayer.

Cobalt is actually complete horseshit. Not to mention is not a game for 4+ people

War Thunder is surprisingly good. You can play with up to... I think it was 12 (?) players on one team.

  12. Whaaat. The trailer video seemed fun. What makes you say this?

It seems fun, but after the third time you have played the one singleplayer gamemode it gets incredibly repetitive and just plain stale. Maybe if the multiplayer wasn't just local coop it would be decent. but thats not the case.

Well for these games are really 2-4 people but I'll say it.
The Super Smash Bros. Series is great fun, lol.
If you have a good computer you'll be able to run Super smash brothers melee through dolphin and netplay
If you have a meh computer then you can play Super smash brothers 64 through Project64k (hence the k at the end that's no mistake) If you have a really good one you can also get Brawl and run it through dolphin.
To get 64 you just go on any rom site and download it
Melee is basically the same but it's like 1gb big.
Brawl, well. You can either buy it and use your dvd drive and run it through Dolphin or the worst case scenario pirate it. The only bad thing is that you have to run these through emulators and that can be a pain.
