Windows Server hosted but doesn't run?

    Hi I've successfully set up my server with the KAG Server Config tool but when I join the server it loads but nothing happens in the game. Have I missed something here? Also, the game doesn't seem to appear in the server list despite successfully portforwarding and etc.

    I guess you're using your own pc to run it. Go to http://www.pokapoka.pl/ and say me what you got (big black numers).
    Then click start >run and write cmd. in new console write ipconfig. Say me if adress from pokapoka is the same like from cmd. If it is not this mean that you have internal ip - you'r server wont show on server list. Try by using hamachi , but then your friends (want to paly on it) must have hamachi.

    Yea I'm using a router which uses an internal IP. I thought portforwarding would solve the issue? If not what is the solution?

    This is actually the first thing I tried and it works but the main problem is that I don't know how to get the server game to "run/start".


    EDIT: Oh, I forgot to mention, what I've been trying to host is some custom mods like the co-op map from https://forum.kag2d.com/threads/duel-co-op-and-strategy-game-modes.2206/ and the DvZ map from https://forum.kag2d.com/resources/dungeons-zombies.36/. Is it possible that they no longer work with the current build?

    i dont think so, when you have hamachi just open and in network with your friends just normaly make server and join by connect to. You can also buy vps or dedicated server (but it cost)

    I'm not sure if you understand my problem here. I have managed to successfully host the server. It's just that nothing happens when I join it. The map is there and all but nothing spawns, not even the trees.

    No blocks are there just that the game doesn't start.

    Try setting up the server without using the config tool. The tool hasn't been updated, which may be the problem. You can run the server with the dedicatedserver.bat file inside your KAG folder. Make sure all the appropriate ports are forwarded on your router and it should work. You firewall might be blocking some ports (which is probably is), so you will have to open the port on your computer as well.
