Suggestions for Items+ mod

    So far I have an outpost (that is carry-able), a mounted bow that is carry-able and able to be made in TTH, cobblestone (smaller than a boulder, larger than kilmanio's 'Rock' mod) and the raft, which was removed from game.
    Any more suggestions?

    Question: Do the suggestions have to be items that were in classic kag, can we request new things, and if we can request new things, how good of a coder are you/what do you think you'd be most willing to try pulling off?

    You can request old items/entities and simple new things, like a new ballista bolt or something.

    Unpackable Crate : The button "press E to see an inventory" on the middle of crate and the button "press E to pack" at the down, and after packing "press E to destroy"
    Crate with Parachute : button "press E to open parachute in 3 secs" ( 3 secs - to throw it from hill )
    Trap crate: button "press E to put 20 arrows, 1 bomb", when enemy will stay near it - destroying with explosive, shooting 20 arrows in all left|up|right sides. Also it should have button "press E to explosive"

    That arrow - Bomb trap sounds really cool! However, it should be very expensive so that it is not easily spammed : )

    How about... an Oil trap. All it needs is a cauldron and a fire pit. You can place it anywhere, on your wall or in the ground. You can also create a sort of ocean of oil just by putting fire pits under some stone and then dumping the oil ontop of it keeping it hot and steamy for any enemy to fall into. It pretty much has the same properties as fire, but keeps the person lit till he dies. How will you generate oil, you ask? Simple. The byproduct of kitchens. Every time you cook, you'd need oil to even be able to make dem fewds. But what's put out of food is more oil. So with that logic, you can make oil from kitchens. :D

    I can understand the Trap Crate but I dont get the Unpackable crate. What do you mean by 'to see an inventory' and 'E to pack' ?

    Well no. It cant. Kitchens can make oil all the time.. like constantly (It's on a timer.. or optionally, will only produce oil when someone makes food.)
    But... BUT... it takes time to start boiling. Oh and by the way, this cauldron needs to be placed in the place the oil needs to be at. Also meaning that if you wanted to make a small pool of hot oil. You need to carry a couldn't of that shit and dump it in. Then.. make a fire pit under the stone floor annd bam... boiling pool of oil... :D

    I can only think of having to 'splash' the oil like water, since i don't recall any items or tools that 'create' or 'place' water.

    There is no items. But there should be a way to mod it... like... take the water's config files and mod it up to have it where the oil despawns. Also mod it where the water can damage you on contact with fire. Plus, you can take the cauldron and have it have that !spawnwater command inside... and bam. :D

    Packable crate:
    PackingCrate.png
    Press "E" on:
    • Inventory button - to move tools in inventory of crate.
    • Packing button - to pack crate.
    • Unpacking button - to destroy crate.

    So, when you press 'inv button' everything in your inventory goes into the crate.
    When you press pack crate it 'binds' it?
    And the Destory opens the crate?

    When you pressing pack - it is removing buttons "packing" and "inventory" and adding button "unpack",
    When you pressing inventory - you can move tools like in standart crate.

    Ohhhhhh I see
    So when you press 'inventory' you see inside crate and can put stuff in, then you 'pack' it into the crate.

    You can put in this crate bombs or arrows or so many sponges and destroy, like supply, or maybe boulder-trap or water-removing pack

    I think there were ropes and kites originally. Can't remember though. I would love to have those re-added so I can swoop around the map with a kite.

    Oh. I remember what it was. You had a rope, a sail, and a raft. You would then create a sail boat that way. Was a cool idea.

    Know what would be a cool idea? Advanced Build Kag.

    All things you want, stone, boats, seige, etc. would have to be build with materials that then have to be pieced together.

    It will be good if you can make farm of mats: auto-chopping forest, auto-generating, -mining stone, gold, auto trading mats to the tools
