The Classic Shield Ladder

I was replying to Auburn, not you, regarding the fact that he just made a remark about his sarcasm meter instead of making an actual argument. None of that was directed at you in particular, and I did not mean to offend you.

 

But you seemed very positive that this thing SHOULD get back in, not fixed or removed

 

I agree that knights have tons of vertical options, and I think it should just be removed. Seriously, if you have 4 knights, why isn't one of them spending 40 coins and double bomb-jumping over a wall? Because he sucks? Oh then he probably sucks enough to where he won't be smart enough to use a shield ladder anyway so, problem solved.

 

What I meant by that saigon was that if something is in game it should work well and be liked by the community. If something doesn't work well or is not liked by the community then something needs to change that.

In my opinion, updating it to work better is the way to go. The only other choice is to remove it, which I disagree with. With the reasoning being what I had previously said and what Auburn said.

Or you can contain the other team completely, getting a lot of time for your builders to move forward and establish shops and defenses or just have them join you, make ladders and have you roll over the other team.

But wouldn't you be able to do that if you were able to make it over their structures? Infact, wouldn't it pressure the enemy team even more so?

 

yes you would.

you would also be able to get to a base with a bombjump. as well as with rocket rollerblades. theres a reason we dont have rocket rollerblades though.

 

What if you used all your bombs or didn't have enough to buy anything like what auburn said? The whole point of this suggestion is to update an aspect of the game that already exists. You may never use it, but others like myself would. So making it work the best it can should be done.

I agree with Geti's idea to simply make it a ledge when shielding up. But regardless, most players won't work as a team using this technique because THEY WON'T BE AWARE IT EXISTS. On the plus side, at least you can do this alone to give your buddies a little boost.

It needs presence in some sort of tutorial. Maybe create an online tutorial server to practice teamwork? But maybe the average KAG player won't care about that anyway

 

in my opinion... knights can already go a like 9 blocks high tower up... isnt that enough..?
