Hearthstone

Nobody made a thread about this, and I know it's damn popular, so SOMEONE besides me has to be in the Beta right now.


Anyone else find it incredibly hard to play using only Basic cards?

 

Hearthstone is a very awesome game. Blizzard make their games so that you have to spend money to win. I prefer arena as its less about paying money to own all the good cards. Just keep questing for gold and buying packs or play arena.

 

Arena is where all the fun is in my opinion, there's never anyone with some bullcrap themed deck and you can get some ridiculous stuff that's just.. fun. Even when you know you'll fail using it, you feel compelled to take, say, five Blood Imps just because you can and when you pull them all it's hilarious.

 

Hehe, yeah. You can almost see their anger boil up inside them as you play another imp after they just used removal to kill the last one.

 

I actually did have one game with four Blood Imps all out on the field at once.
My other minions just had insane health XD

And it wouldn't necessarily make them angry. That's part of the fun of it, is when I'm playing Arena and some guy just pulls out a constant stream of Cruel Taskmasters and they all piss each other off and run at me. There's so many silly scenarios that you're often too busy laughing to care if you just went 2/3 because of some crazy nonsense. At least for me, that is.
