    Hi guys.
So right now im really wondering how to make a server. I opened the "dedicated server" in my KAG-beta folder. And then i connected to it manually (with the IP that already was wrote there)

And then now im stuck... So what do i do from there? And no, i have not done anything to my router.

The server is just gonna be used as a server for my clan, and it needs to have a password.

(So for my bad english, im danish)

If you're going to host it on your computer (and not on a VPS), you'll need to do portforwarding..

For server guides visit the KAG Wiki.

Same number for Start and End port. Apart from the ports listed, you aren't going to find much more than that because port forwarding differs from router to router. It'd take too long to explain it for each one.

Based on your screenshot, I'm guessing you are using a Netgear router/router+modem.

If that's the case, under the Advanced tab find MAC filtering. At the top you'll see "Trusted Devices". Look for your computer's name. If you don't know your computer's name (and assuming you have more than one device connect to your router) you can go to Control Panel > System and Security > See name of this computer under System. You can skip all of this if you know how to use the command prompt to get your MAC address but if you don't you can look it up yourself, I can't be bothered to explain it right now.

Anyways, once you know your mac address, jot it down somewhere. Then under the Advanced tab of the router, look for LAN IP. Under the 2nd section you'll see a box that says "DHCP Reservation Lease Info". On the box below that, enter your MAC address and an IP address that's within range of the starting and ending IP address that you see at the top of that screen. Once you finish entering that info press "Add". Chances are that you may have to renew your IP so you can do that either via Command Prompt, disabling and restarting your NIC or if you are wireless, disabling your Wifi and then re-enabling it. Technically, you don't have to do this but I highly recommend it as it gives you an internal static IP and you don't want dynamic IP if you are running a server.

Once you have your static IP set, fill in the port for both start to end with 50301, under protocol leave it as both and under local address use the IP you reserved for yourself. If your router isn't a Netgear, then you'll still want to look up your MAC address and reserve your IP before you set your ports. Either way, I can't help you there since the only other router's UI that I know of is a Cisco one and even then I don't have access to it off the top of my head.

Just read the wiki and ask a specific question if you don't understand something. It's useless to copy paste the wiki in here.

You probably have to add the right maps to the mapcycle. Use any map that's located at the /Base/Maps/War folder.

I want a TTH server, not a war server. I set the gamemode to TTH and i choose sv_mapcycle = Base/Rules/WAR/mapcycle.cfg and nothing works. It make a weird map and i just fall down into the ground and die. i can only see the map on minimap.

The mapcycle file is broken, you have to use the console command to load different maps, or force update your game, which only works temporarily for a small time. Also, editing mapcycle.cfg makes your server count as modded, which removes it from the quick join option.
