Kill streaks

Have you ever had those awesome triple quatripple or megagaziliontripple kills in kag and all you are rewarded with is having your name spammed on the kill feed? Well I suggest having your name be shown on the middle top of the screen under the map with a voice saying double kill or triple kill like in counterstrike.

OR
have the game give you badges like they do in halo.

OR

when you are on a long kill streak have your player get a super saiyan aura around them (this is just for aesthetics).

 

I like this idea. I like it a lot.

It is a good way to get players pumped, it really is. Whenever I get like a double kill or killing spree, I always imagine to myself the sound effects playing DOUBLE KILL, TRIPLE KILL, QUADRA KILL, GODLIKE! And so on. It tells the other team that this kid needs to die and gets them pumped.

As for the badge system, I think that would be a cool idea. Separate from a achievement, you could track the number of badges you have unlocked, possibly linking it to your forum account so you can brag would be cool too.

As for an aura around the person, that might be pushing it.

 

what about a Cod like killstreak system?
if you get a 4 killstreak you get a sentry gun, 25 killstreak get a atomic bomb?

 

imho kag will never be complete without kill streaks

 

Please no. Don't even bring COD into this. No perks to getting killstreaks should ever be implemented in KAG. The only thing that should be implemented is ascetics.

In a way, the gold coin collection system is based upon how many kills you get in one life. Adding perks to getting more kills would be overkill.

Nah, i dont think that the sounds are a good idea.
But im ok with the badges or the aura .

Yep. I would only agree with this if it was purely cosmetic. Rewarding someone who rekt an entire team by further enabling them to rek that entire team isn't my definition of fun.

 

It wouldn't buff them or give them anything, just a little objective.

 

Perhaps the messages could appear on the killboard instead of the chatbox?

 

This sounds like a good idea to me- I've been thinking about how cool kill streaks would be in kag- imagine going to a server full of plebs, getting a kill streak, and proceeding to Rek them over and over while they desperately try to take you down, ignoring the rest of your team capping their flags. :D
