    Hey builders, new or otherwise:[​IMG]
    THIS is an overhang. It prevents the enemy from climbing the wall to a certain degree. And when I come back and see this:

    THIS is basically a ladder. A RED ladder. On their side of our tower. The moment I see this shit grafted onto a tower, I usually hear the flag capture sound immediately afterwards, accompanied by the sound of shops being destroyed and builders being slaughtered in our base.

    So please note, just because it looks like you're making the walls even thickness, or more stable, or more symmetrical, NEVER leave features on the enemy-facing wall that the enemy can stand on.

    Nice tip but I would suggest using one way doors for the overhang instead of regular blocks. Knights can still climb the wall by wall hopping and one way doors are a good way to prevent that from happening.

    I'm aware of that, but designs may vary by the time the round starts, which is when I switch to knight. This is a message to prevent counter-productive buildings. The specific details of the depicted structure are trivial.

    Overhangs provide cover from archers for enemy team.....
     
  5. Exactly I even find that in classic KAG. Some buildings provide absolutely no support for archers but I'm sure to try this see how it goes :)

  7. It's fine where it is, because it is discussing an aspect of KAG, rather than discussing buildings specifically. It's addressing strategy, as it relates to building, not a specific building.

    I find the same thing where I've placed down-turned bridges on a tower to slow down archers and idiots come along and knock them off. What gives?
