Far fetched meet up idea.

Hello my fellow addicts,

this is my first post on the forum but some of you will probably know me from the game.

Reason for the post? Here it is.

I am originally from Czech republic but in June I will be for a week in eastern Slovakia. I figured once I'm there I might as well keep going. Where? Somewhere. I'll see where raised thumb will take me. I want to hitch hike to Balkan, probably through Hungary, MAYBE Romania, Serbia and so on. I might as well use this opportunity to meet some of you. If any of you are from the general area and are interested in meeting and exchanging some culture (no homo) I would be totally up for it. I can't make promises that I can make it to you, because I never did this before but if road leads me there...

Anyway if you are from the area I mentioned and are up for meeting, pleasant chat and meeting new person, let me know. It could be fun. :-)

PS: I am not a scary guy. I am gentle giant. :-)

 

i have no idea where Czech is, nor slovakia, nor hungary or romania....
i missed those geography classes, is it europa or asia?

Meet ups in gaming communities are actually not that far fetched. I went up to New York last year and met up with some of my old buddies in Drunken Bombers (R.I.P.)

I don't think a forum that isn't specifically for a gaming community though would be the easiest to meet up with other users.

I wanted to meet with some of the people I know from game, that's why I called it far fetched.

 

UK is not the right kind of "uncivilized" I would like to visit. :(

So... I was in Slovakia in High Tatras. Through Bratislava and Budapest I got to Pécs. Tomorrow I am somehow heading to Sarajevo and after that to Albania, probably through Monte Negro. Anyone out there? :o Anywhere? Pls. I am so ronery.
