Windows Auto-joins a game from the server list

I click multiplayer, and then pick my game mode (e.g. Take the Halls) which gets me to a screen with a server list.

But then the game seems to freeze momentarily, and automatically joins a random server without me clicking anything on that screen.

I don't mind it at the moment, but if I want to find a particular game (such as, one with low ping, or join one with a friend) then it'll be frustrating, because I don't know how to stop it automatically selecting a server.

As I said, the screen also freezes, so I can't adjust the criteria options below the server list - nothing seems to work and then it unfreezes a couple of seconds later, but instantly joins a game.

Steps to reproduce: Start the game, go to the multiplayer mode, click Take the Halls (although I think the bug happens on any multiplayer game mode).

I don't know if it is replicable, or if it only happens to me. The connection upon starting the game (i.e. the auto login) also seems to be unreliable or buggy, even though my own internet is (usually) perfectly fine.

Screenshots/Videos: The bug isn't a visual one, and I can't see anything unusual about the server screen even when it freezes.

 

Click 'Browse Servers'. You're using the Quick Join function, as clearly stated above the buttons where you can choose which gamemode to quick-join.
