I don't see how exactly this could be done, I have no experience in coding/developing, but I'll just get this off my chest just in case.

Nothing is more annoying when you try to pick up a lit keg, and you pick up wooden log instead (for example).
OR when I have little time, and I try to pick up a say, a fire arrow, but theirs a pile of default arrows in the way, causing me to pick them up instead.

If their is a way to fix this, maybe you could pick up the most expensive item first? for example:

    - Bomb arrow
    - Water arrow

    - Pick up bomb arrow first.

    -Bomb arrow
    -Keg

    - Pick up Keg first.

I know lot's of people complain about this in game including myself, and this fix would make it a lot less annoying.

The flying blocks are also annoying below the flag. Once the flag is captured, those tiles should become regular destructible dirt blocks.

Bomb Arrows should stun a knight that is shielding.

Yeah but what if this was used for builders. They don't have protection as it is, it slows them down, and it looks cool!

A builder could easily barricade himself/use platforms to deny archers of killing him; but I still get your point about using this when a team wants to "rush" their enemies base.
Although a builder could push my spamming the "row of platforms with team doors" (which is of course still slower than what you suggested obviously).
In my mind this seems like a good point to argue over at this point.

Y'all need to stop thinking of every little change as a "buff" or a "nerf". (It's not just you epenow.) Just because something would be useful for a knight doesn't mean it is a straight buff and is a bad idea. Think of each idea in terms of "could this change make the game more fun?", not in terms of "does this buff or nerf a class that doesn't need it?".

Also archers can throw corpses too.

I like the idea of improvised arrow-blocking. This can already be done with burgers, and in TTH by throwing supply crates. I think that it's a pretty fun mechanic, and as long as whatever blocks my arrow takes damage and will gib after a few shots, I'm fine with it.

I wouldn't want bodies/etc to block arrows just by being held, though.. That's like builder door-shields all over again.

This also wouldn't just be a knight buff. This would help builders and even other archers to protect themselves from incoming arrows in a creative, skillful way.

I think rush brought up a good point by saying the body gets gibbed after a few shots (while being held)

Make people auto spawn at the furthest hall owned so that they stop minecrafting at base and realise the front needs help too.

    And less water maps.

It wouldn't be a buff. It just makes sense that holding a dead body in-front of you should shield you from arrows. I think of it as more of a balance. A good archer can easily overpower a good knight even on a flat surface. Two good archers for sure could overpower even the best knights. Using dead bodies as shields wouldn't be an advantage but a tactile maneuver and it definitely would not be a buff.

Here are some points to consider:

    - Dead bodies already have a "weight" to them slowing down the carrier.
    - Dead bodies disintegrate if dealt enough damage. An easy way to balance this even more is to allow dead bodies to take "damage" if's shot with an arrow or to completely disintegrate if shot with a bomb arrow. This way knights can't just charge forward endlessly holding a dead body.
-Unless there is a huge battle going on, you'll have to kill another player in order to get a dead body.
    - Two or more knights battling give the archers plenty of time to land shots while the knight isn't shielding.
    - Like I said before dead bodies shields should NOT completely absorb the amount of damage an arrow does. I suggest it cuts the amount of damage taken in half so an arrow traveling at full velocity should only do 1/2 heart of damage and an arrow traveling lower than that should do no damage.

With all of this, I'm certain body shields wouldn't be a "knight buff" but a tactile maneuver that makes sense to add and would further improve the game.

They should fix it so you can place back walls on trap blocks. I can't tell you how frustrated I get when I forget to put the back walls first and then have to redo the trap blocks

I build TTH workbenches more often then I build wood backwalling.
And I only play TTH if I've d/c'd from the Australian CTF and no other servers are populated.

Wood backwalling has its merits, but it's only usable when touching no solid blocks (or ground ladders).
Because bad builders exist that risk always exists in pub matches.

Oddly enough, this change wood actually impact me. If I'm caught out of position but the enemy knights are a fair distance away, I like to build a fake trees (the ones everyone seems to be spamming these days) to stall for time while I build a much nicer tower. And with this I'd have to build them slightly differently.

Aside from that this would add one more item to the lists of things allies might accidentally break during a fight, but I don't think anyone else uses wood backwall either...

Though this does feel like it should be a thing for consistency.
But it's not really a "drastic" improvement.

Remove the bug and players will just learn to aim them instead, so they actually hit people and activate instead of breaking. Be careful what you wish for.

Now that you can sleep to regain health I think that the food should be cheaper since 9 times out of ten I would rather wait 10 seconds to get all my health rather than to pay 20 coins for food
