Destiny - a waste of money

Hi - I went to post a rage post on the Destiny forum after playing it, but they decided I'm not allowed to and I'm not wasting more time on it. So enjoy my rage post I copy-pasted to here - let the fun begin:

"My dad, who plays a lot of playstation, got destiny the other day and recommended i try it. i saw it had pvp so i thought why not.
i start it up, 5 minutes of creating a character, 10 minutes of cutscenes and 15 minutes of tutorial (basically just walking into brainless enemies and shooting) later, i get to some crappy hub thing. i look around for 10 minutes, do some stupid weapon getting stuff and then it says i can leave. BUT WHERE IS THE MULTIPLAYER? i google it and I HAVE TO BEAT LEVEL FUCKING 5 ON SOME DUMBASS STORYLINE BEFORE I CAN PLAY THE GAME I WANT TO PLAY.
YOU KNOW WHAT? FUCK YOU! Ive wasted an hour of my life - thank god i wasnt the one to buy this piece of shit game - how dare you advertise multiplayer as part of the game if i must waste my life walking into brainless ai things for 2-3 hours before i can play it.
i advise anyone here to not buy this game - sorry for horrific grammar but i cannot access a keyboard so this is written on my tablet. could have waited but my anger levels are through the roof."

So yeah, excuse the grammar. If you like shit RPG games, get it, if you like good FPS games, then don't. Get BF, KZ, Halo, CSGO or even Cod over this.

 

Maybe it's trying to help you not get Rekt?

 

id welcome the news if i hadnt played fps's for more than half my life.

 

IMO: i guess you are exagerating, you are saying that a game sucks only because you have to reach lvl 5 to play PvP? is the PvP even the main feature? and btw, its only level 5, its not the end of the world.

 

pvp is the omly feature i want to play in an fps game. level 5 could waste another hour of two of my time.

Destiny is more an RPG than a FPS, the main idea is not PvP, by the way, its not a waste of money, if you like RPGs this is a good game, if you want only/mainly PvP action, buy a real FPS like you said, BattleField 4 for example, (i love that game, headshot + 432 marksman <3). not sure which PS you have, but i suggest you a good FREE FPS game, its called Dust542 (not sure about numbers lol) and a RPG (also free) Defiance. (why waste money when there are free games around there :D)

 

I wonder why anyone would deny the beautiful message in the OP from being posted.

 

I guess this is why developers never force you to go through tutorials/basic practice before playing multiplayer, as cases of really unfounded rage tend to occur.

 

Well when i jump into multiplayer and you're new you tend to get rekt so they help you understand the concept so when you do get rekt you know why and don't rage

The concept of any and every FPS is simple - aim and shoot. There are some or many differences between different FPSs like BF and TF for example, but the concept is the exact same, you just need to learn the skill of playing which no hord of bots can teach you.

Maybe I should give BF a real shot - it seems like the only game worth playing on PS4 yet unfortunately. I tell you, they really need to make cod4 remastered so I get play that game with a controller again.

P2W is Realm Of The Mad God , but anyways, dust542 is not a P2W , i rekt guys with real money weapons when i use normal weapons, oh and your demands seems to be very high, "cant play PvP until lvl 5, a free game that a nice person wanted to "gift" to the people, you can pay IF YOU WANT and they only give a small boost", and free games doesnt means P2W. kag classic is a good example of that.

Free games that offer you boosts, no matter how big or small, are P2W.

 

can we ban someone based on that his opinions are:
a) trolling
v
b) so wrong that it physically hurts

 

saying P2W to a game that offers you a small boost, is wrong, at least if you know what P2W means, is like saying that a small pile of dirt equals to he everest, but hey, keep with your own meaning of the word-phrase P2W.

 

Obviously, this only applys to PvP games such as Destiny or Call of Duty. Paying for a better gun that isn't obtainable (or easily obtainable) via another method is P2W.

Although, games that force you to buy anything is pretty shit to me. The only exception to not being shit is aesthetic things like camouflage or skins, but they are still pretty shit as a huge part of games is customization and I don't wanna pay for that, I wanna earn it.
