try starbound, can get it off steam

 

Yes, Starbound is a great game, planet explorations, randomly generated mobs, thousands of weapons/objects. Minecraft needs more bosses in my opinion, it has plenty of passive mobs and items, but the exploration aspect is lacking quite a lot.

P.S : I still love Terraria, started to get a little into multiplayer.

 

I used to play on a small towns server hosted by a student at my school, and I loved it there, but it was shut down due to griefing.

I might play Minecraft again if I can find a decent server and some people to play with.

 

Sad thing is, the program (not website) itself is actually pretty cool (meant to be a 3D physics engine but moddable with lua), but the devs and community are just bleh.

And how is Minecraft Terraria's clone? They're both completely different games.

 

Only blocks, tools, very few monsters are similar, everything else is different.
Also, bosses? Minecraft never ment to be some sort of adventure game, where you explore dungeons and kill enemies. It was supposed to be a normal building and survival game, nothing else.
I'm starting to hate when people keep saying that a game is a Minecraft/Terraria clone. When Minecraft or Terraria's clone are very similar (similar blocks, character, tools, similar purpose) THEN it is a clone. But if you compare Minecraft with... Skyrim? No... Just no...

 

KAG? Minecraft clone. Garry's Mod? Minecraft Clone. Call of Duty? Minecraft Clone.

Yes, it fits the theme of games being clones of games that come after them.

 

I just explained how Minecraft ISN'T Terraria's clone...
Minecraft was first released May 17 2009, while Terraria May 16 2011. I can't find a way Minecraft being a clone of Terraria.
I'll say it again, both games are completely different from each other. Stop saying that Minecraft is Terraria's clone.

 

What exactly has he cloned? Tools? Weapons? Monsters? Biomes? Nothing. Minecraft barely "cloned" anything from Terraria.
It's funny to see that you keep telling that Minecraft is Terraria's clone, and nothing else. You don't say how is the game a "clone", what Minecraft stole from Terraria, only that it is cloned. It is starting to look ridiculous.
