Where can I get hold of the server logs?

Baron's Warchest servers are have been becomming more serious lately and I think it's time I have access to this stuff.

 

to see the last log just go to KAG (server) main folder and go into "logs" and open the last log.txt or the last chat.txt (you will find the date and the time in the name of the log) I wish this helps :)

Does anyone know how often they are created? It seems they aren't created straight away.

 

glad I helped you bro :) ,and those logs are created when you open the server (or even your kag game) it helps you find out if there is any issue in the server scripts,see the RCON commands(to know if any admin is abusing or something) besides seeing the regular players chat.
As I said before u have to search the log inside the log folder IN YOUR KAG's SERVER MAIN FOLDER, if no log files exist this means that either you didn't host the server yet or that you are opening the log folder in a wrong destination (for exp:opening the log folder in the KAG game you used to play with instead of that log folder in your KAG server folder)

PS: you can't view server's logs unless you own it,being an admin doesn't mean that you can have access to the server's main logs (if you are an admin just ask the owner to upload to you the logs).

 

I have a couple of other things:

I used the /rcon /sv_password command today to make the game private without having the restart the server. However I realised soon after that I didn't know how to turn the password off.

-Does anyone know how to remove a server password in /rcon?

Additionally...

-My admins can't seem to use many /rcon commands in the console. Why is this and can I add some commands for them to use?

you can always remove the password using this:
/rcon /sv_password =
or you can go to "autoconfig.cfg"
and make it look like this:

your admins can't use RCON commands unless your seclevs are configured correctly,they have the commands in the "admin.cfg" file or you can easily give them your RCON password (personally I wouldn't do that if I don't trust them enough).
Look at this screenshot and you will find out how to add them the ability to use "some" commands.

Please answer me those questions so I could help you further:
-is your admin name red in the scoreboard?
-when you press ESC-- >Admin-- >player-- > a player name-- >assign seclev, what are the security levels shown up for you?
-are you sure you configured the admin.cfg and the seclev.cfg correctly?
and about this "-Does anyone know how to remove a server password in /rcon?" why would you want to remove your RCON password anyway? (O.o)
logically you can remove your RCON password with changing "sv_rconpassword = *** " to "sv_rconpassword = "(you know using /rcon /sv_rconpassword = )
but I guess this might cause you some problems, I mean you won't be able to login to RCON without a password it's your choice anyway but the easiest way will be fixing your seclevs(I could help you in that if you want ) .

 

Notice : You can reload security levels doing /rcon /reloadseclevs if you're often changing those.

 

Anyone know how to get the admin menu? I'm pretty sure I'm admin on my server tho I don't have any admin menu.

having a purple name doesn't mean being an admin , your names is purple when you join a LAN server (it's a bug that still persist actually , since only devs are supposed to have purple names).
to get the admin menu just write in RCON:
/rcon /reloadsecurity
then press ESC ===>ADMIN
and here you got the admin menu.
