Re: adverts - sorry guys I'll be wanting to see this stay stable and active for a while before putting it up anywhere more public, not keen for another MEDIC fiasco.

Um, I guess I could be a mentor? Is there any way to evaluate skill or teaching ability or something?

    (I'm US)

Can we get a bit more details on how the training goes down?
If it's just this constant 1 on 1 "YOU DID THIS WRONG TRY AGAIN", eh... ew.
I'm more interested in just two people playing together and the more experienced one giving tips/tricks based on what the other does - it helps people learn real time and you're actually having some fun while playing the game.
Though, people teach however they want, I suppose. ::P:

  5. I really just think KAG is basically two knights charging their sword until one fucks up and the other one takes advantage. Oh, and chucking bombs at sporadic intervals, and hope that it gibs someone. Or the teacher can simply hand the ignorant student a water bomb and water arrow, and teach them that those two weapons are the most dangerous in the game, if accompanied by jab-spamming.

True, but there's obviously some tricks to the trade you've gotta learn - it's what separates an experienced knight from a guy who's just learned the ropes. KAG isn't simply a luck based game where you chuck yourself at others and hope for the best (even though it seems so at times) - you've gotta put some strategy into it or you're dead. Teaching people those various moves and random tidbits of info (such as enemy saws being picked up from below, or jabs stopping slashes) helps them in the long run.

It would be better if you can wait. Then you could get your next student at the same time as everyone.

    Please. :rekt:

i've been playing kag for over a year. i'm not sure why my account says that since i've had a forum account for at least 6 months. i was in the ghost clan and the leader of the duck clan, my ign is glue or glue baby. most people know me, you could even ask startselect here, we're friends. actually, looking through this thread, almost anyone in the us could confirm my experience :p.

well , bro being a "student" doesn't mean being a "nub" , it just means that you want and you try to be better in KAG by getting some useful tips and some good trainings with someone more experienced and more skillful than you .This helps us (even "good" players) to know more strategies ,making new friendships and learning new stuff in playing KAG besides having fun ofc .
