The big eu knight  @AJFaas was set to take on @Spirits-Reaper.. as an archer of course.

    :flex: THE MATCH

[match lengths are shorter than videos, as anti-spoiler is added at the end]

    :bomb_arrow:Results
As a newcomer to archery, Mr Faas did better than expected in his previous fight vs @A_Jax - scoring 2 points against a great archer. However after this game we have reconsider him even further - 5:2 to faas vs wolfy (Spirits-Reaper). Actually getting a win in such tough competition, and such a decisive one.

Two of my favourite matches so far.. seriously.

If you wish to watch the matches first they will be posted soon.

    :bomb_arrow:Results
The first match was @r0ber7 vs @demosito - a replacement entrant for the group. Demosito actually came 2nd in the Bw Knight Tournament held a few months ago.

Rober was very sharp during the game, as I know him to be in CTF as I see him often. He even pulled off what I consider to be one of the best pieces of skill seen so far in this competition - which will soon be uploaded. However he just couldn't get a grip on his opponent. There were some great skills showcased from Demosito to say the least; highlighting him from this point as one of the big names in the tournament. Rober you did well, but you came up against a mountain.

    ->5:2 to Demosito

The second match I JUST KNEW WAS GOING TO BE A GREAT ONE. After seeing how skilled archer-wise demo was in the previous game, and knowing @NinjaCell was a fantastic competitor also currently leading the group, I was eager to see what was gonna happen.

Wonderful play from both guys. It was pretty much neck and neck all the way to the end as well would you believe it !!! You should watch it to check out the angles used, the subtle little jumps, the quick maneuvers, quicker reflexes, the dummy attacks, the counter-attacks, the counter-counter attacks, and so on. In my opinion this is the best game we've had so far. Two very good players meeting this early together. I hope this is a sample of future matches to come. Great to watch.

->At the end NinjaCell just got the edge taking 4:4 to.. 5:4 for victory. Weldone ninja you have finished 1st in group h winning all 3 mini-games.

Demosito rolled over Dangalang throughout showing no weakness.

The score ended up a clean 5:0.

Weldone Demosito, you are through in 2nd.

..Hard luck to both @r0ber7 and Dangalang, this was possibly the toughest group.

    :right:Tournament Update

...There'll be a big one tomorrow about the next stage.

    !!!The Update

Okay so there's only 1 mini-game left in the group stage:

I found the group stage very difficult to do as there were in total 48 game set-ups that had to be achieved. This is HUGE and much larger than the remaining 15 games.

I doubt the group-stage idea will be done again by myself as with such an online game trying to get people together (some not so organised or punctual) is not very simple. We did however manage to get basically all of them done within a couple of months - still this seems a bit too long.

Why was there a group stage?

Well you get two good things:

    1. It breaks the tournament structure up and adds some nice diversity to the whole scope.

    2. It ensures top players don't knock each other out in the first stage due to bad player placement. For example; even though @demosito and @NinjaCell were in the same group, they are both going through because the best 2 go through. Had they met in a standard 1:1 arrangement, one of them wouldn't be moving forwards, which would seem unfair.

Final thoughts on the group matter: Too much effort for it to be worthwhile, and too slow.. unless there's some other way to pull it off. However still I'm pleased it was carried out.

    BUT HERE WE ARE!..

The matches are now first to 11.

Good luck to all, I will be setting them up starting tomorrow!

~NinjaCell's opponent from group g will be figured out soon.
~There may be some map mix-ups

Hahah, I like this. If you're right 100% snake you will be the new owner of KAG, lal.

Interesting how the question mark guy does so well ::D::huh?:

    :right:Knockout Match happening now

    @demosito vs @A_Jax

I decided to get things rolling quick. Sorry I didn't have time to pre-announce this for audience members to join.
    • The winner goes through to the Quarter-finals.

The results will be added later today.

~Other knockout matches will be pre-announced, but I thought it would be good to get one going straight away for momentum
