@TheGreenShadow looked in great condition in the group stage. Let's see how he faired against the former Group b dominator @Blue_Tiger..

At first it was neck and neck, but Maltager aka Blue_tiger took the helm and powered ahead to 10:5. With Shadow needing to win the next 6 points in a row, it was looking grim to say the least. Amazingly, he saved the next 4 points to bring the score to a nail-biting 10:9. Maltager, seeing business getting serious, he put his game head back on and grabbed the next kill leading to an...

Quick Analysis: Shadow performed great. Agile and nifty. Maltager was something else. This player could be one of the favourites to win the whole campaign, speaking of which..

Clearly both players are good, because if they weren't they wouldn't have reached this stage. I would say each of them brought a fairly steady form of play to the match, not risk taking too much (barring fernegulus being a joker at times). JaytleBee had a clear edge over ferne, but overall he had to work hard for it.

We had a little audience for this, and during most of the match it was shocking. Verz seemed to have lost his accuracy, hardly ever making an arrow connect. It appeared like this problem was compounded by him panicing further. Often points were won by vale by simply him standing in one position and shooting at verz as he lept around missing, using tons of effort.. only to be hit from a very basic move done correctly from vale. Verz simply wasn't himself in this fight, however as time went on he did get a bit more of a grip on things. The final score was..
    • 11:9 victory to Verz
Don't get me wrong; there were some fantastic moments of skill, but form was not found in this sitting for the big archer. Vale out-did himself and nearly took down the monster before the quarter finals, so weldone vale - heroic attempt.
Congratulations Verzuvius, you are through to the Quarter-finals

As we can see we have our second QUARTER-FINALS match - Verzuvius vs @Blue_Tiger - two of the top picks. That'll be good.

Not my fault that Vale was wearing a kryptonite cap.

@daskew87, I'd like to play the match earlier. We played it way too late and I usually sleep then so... Thank you!

EDIT: But yeah, we did came up with another time but Vale was late. .-.

    Well well well..

The curious case of Group H

    thinking.png

    groupg.png

MCrifelMIST was set to fight @AJFaas, and this would have been the last game in this particular group to decide who would go through. However mcrifel dropped out, leaving a weird situation where AJfaas was up 1L 1W, and Spirits-Reaper was at 2L 1W. The organisation was completely messed up, and it was almost decided to just put faas straight through as he had less losses, but I felt this was unfair as if he had fought mcrifel he might have gotten a loss and been level with Spirits-Reaper. EVENTUALLY reaper decided to drop out putting faas through to the knockout stage.

    meaning..

It was a fairly close match. It was clear Faas decided to go all-out-aggressive on Ninja - often doing things you wouldn't expect. This was a great strategy to take as it seemed NinjaCell was taken aback by it. There weren't many individual special occurrences (hence no ticklers), other than the match as a whole.

Faas managed to get the better of ninja in the first half leading 6:4 at one point. Ninja quickly came back to an 8:7 lead. The final score was..
    • 11:8 victory to Ninja
Faas has done a great job improving his archer skills. He started off a little while before the contest all over the place.

But most importantly weldone NinjaCell, made it to the Quarter-finals

    :bow:Knockout
    Tables.png

The third revealed QUARTER-FINALS match - NinjaCell vs @demosito. These two had a glorious mini-game in the group stage. This clash won't be easy for either of them.

EDIT: !!!There was a weird issue with the video, so I have deleted it and will insert the corrected one soon.

Faas was literally an archer noob 3 months ago. Here he his with an aggressive style against an experienced bow handler in a first to 11 kills match.

The amount of times people fall into the void in warm-up and spawn back in this tournament is way too high xD.
