    In real tournament of chess, we usualy play with 1h30 (both players) with 30 sec of deley... but the games are really long so I think it's a good idea to start with 30 min or less with something like 15 sec of deley.

  13. When it comes to draws in Knockout (elimination) chess, the correct procedure is to replay the match, though that's why SOME elimination chess matches are played Bo3. Another method used is whoever had the black pieces win.

    Therefore, this is what i suggest:
    Make the matches Bo3
    OR
    Single game, if it is drawn, replay the game;

    Opinions?

    i think using the value for pieces(whoever took the most points) should decide ties but if not black should win i suppose

  15. Punk123, Using the value of chess pieces as a tiebreaker is not a legal method in chess tournaments, so it shouldn't be used.

    this isnt a legitimate tournament it is just chess for fun. I dont see how the person having black is a good way to pick a winner and i feel like forcing ties would be very irritating

  17. Using the value of chess pieces to determine a winner has the same problems as who has black pieces the most winning. It would be best just to replay the match, or do a Bo3. (Edited my post to reflect this).

    I'm sure that replay the game is the best idea... PUNK123 yours is good too but it is bad with ballsy move wich need to do sacrifices ;)

    If tie the the two people eill replay the match. If it was so black would win if a tie I feel some people would think of that way unfair.

    If there's any slots remaining, sign me up. A classy game like chess is too irresistible to pass up. It has been a while since I last played, but I'm ready for the reckoning!
