Wiki KAG WIKI ("Well, It's Kinda Irrelevant") - A Call For Revival

Lol yeah no worries I already made note of that a couple of posts ago saying "You can submit write ups, pictures, gifs, and videos. It's all helpful for us, even if its half assed. I really hope more and more people jump on this, it's a really easy system. People like Paralogia can clean it all up after and make super bad ass sections on the wiki after."

If you mean gifs should replace detailed explanations though I disagree. I think both of them should go hand in hand. However I would be happy to see people that only submit videos and gifs to the group for us to use. We currently have a small amount, all I can manage is picture gifs which look childish lol.

The reason I asked if you were referring to the group page or wiki was because the group page is not the final draft. The group is just a place where anyone can submit whatever they think might help. The wiki on the other hand is completely unfinished.

That's not what I meant, I was implying long descriptive text and gifs should hand in hand. As opposed to little write ups and gifs, I figured that was understood because that's what you were suggesting in the first place. Sorry if I was to vague about it, you know I love you.

It's quite easy to find the chat commands actually. If you want to know the command for the Lantern, for example, you go to its folder in Entities, and find the CFG file. Look around it till you find a variable (not sure if it is one, correct me if I'm wrong ) called $name. It should say the name of the blob there, and if you want to spawn it, just write that name in the chat with ! in front of it.

 

*nix (Linux, OSX) users :

cd /your/kag/folder/
grep -r '\$name' | cut -d '=' -f 2 | sort | uniq

This should print a list of all available blobs (to spawn with !blob)
You probably can do that with cygwin as well

Ton of wiki editing that has been done over the past week or so. Could still use a Bucket and Sponge writeup though. I think ill hit up arrows tommorow(water, bomb, fire all needs threads and tips). Here's hoping all the work done up until this point will convince some of you guys to help. Thanks to @Vamist for all the sprites while i was a pleb at the wiki and para and kaz for the help :)

 

I just added the navigation at the bottom of the mech thread for consistency and im pretty sure i fixed all the reciever errors.

I think all the actual blocks are good(mechs def need threads tho), but the actual issue, imo, is all the blank arrow pages, i think burger is missing, and afew other important ingame items.
