Personal spawn limitation

    So, it was already told by MM when unit counter was introduced:

    And it is the same as my suggestion - team spawn limit should be replaced with personal, player spawn limit. And good players should be rewarded for good score with extra lifes.

    Who agrees?

    No, that's not how being a good player works. Being a good player means you don't need the extra lives.

    Well, this is suggestion. If MM is considering doing this, he should know if any players are supporting the idea.

    Yeah, about rewarding good players... I wasn't sure.

    My concern would be that it runs the risk of becoming an annoying bitch of a thing when you have a bad run and then have 5/10/15/30 min of waiting before you can re-join the game. People (and by people, I mean noobs) dying excessively has always been part of the game and, to be honest, I don't think there's a problem with it - it's all a matter of balancing the teams appropriately. There is the possibility of life-grifing, I guess, but I don't think that needs to be actively countered at this point as I've not encountered it yet - despite having played enough games now to have a relative sample of normal gameplay...

    My 2c.

    As much as I hate to say it; what Fuzzy say is true. Still give me more lives anyway :)

    Edit: unless you want to make KAG a more spectator kind of sport - then you could have people buying extra lives for themselves, and the ones who can't afford new lives are given a small amount of coin which they can use to bet on the remaining players.
    I think betting on live action (with the payouts based off supply/demand on the bet) would be a fantastic way to spice up spectating. The bonus is hopefully noobs will learn how to play quicker by observing experienced players.

    Not going to comment on the spawning discussion, but note that gambling with game coin is planned in the future as we agree that it's a fun idea to spice up not only specating but also moments in the game where waiting is necessary, and quieter moments in the planned adventure based mode.

    Wouldnt this idea be bad if the teams were inbalanced?
    For example:
    2 good players vs 3 good players the team with the most players would have a extra 10 lives
    but as it is having around i don't know like 50 units on each team even though the teams may be unbalanced the amount of respawns is the same.
