So yea i have an issue. I know i have an issue with everything every other game but this one is abit more serious in my opinion. Some of the official server maps just lead to complete and total stalemates and i really feel like they need to be reworked.

List of maps i have issues with:
    1. Cerbero's rift
    2. Dragon lair
    3. Joiken's ctf 2

For starts Cerbero's rift leads to a very mixed and strong response from players. Some really like the map while others detest it. My issue with it revolves around the fact that the pit stagnates everything. The Edit made by geti for the flagroom did make it alittle more bearable and did help building but i feel like more needs to be done. My suggestion is to add dirt backwall farther across the pit it make crossing more bearable. I would also prefer it if there was not a double flag as i literally hate those. The front flag would also help the pit experience because the team would be defending from their edge. I would welcome anyone elses fixes, suggestions, response because i suck at mapping and i am very closed-minded. CerberosRift.png

To continue, i think Dragon lair is by far the prettiest map in the pool but i have an issue with afew things. First i dont like you need to ladder up to the flag though that issue is trivial. The 2nd part is how cumbersome mid is. My suggestion is to make it more open, add some bedrock, and remove the dirt/stone built mid. Something about a placeholder of dirt is really appealing to me and i think it looks very nice(i based this off of how it looked when mid deteriorated).

Finally ctf 2 a really good map with one simple fault. The back flag is too far up. I just moved the entire mound down and hope that would be enough because i would hate to butcher a good map. Any imput? Am i just nitpicky and crazy?

I like double flags when they're not clustered together. Those maps do tend to be stalematish but they're supposed to be long, and I like long CTF matches where it's a constant struggle for an advantage. Clustered flags are just more stalematish imo, and they're obnoxious to build around, and serve absolutely no point. I'd like to see the second flag either moved farther back so it's it's own seperate entity, or just removed entirely in favor of one singular flag. (One flag would probably be better. I'd like two flags though because I would want cerberos' to be long :D)

Oh, and the middle of Dragon's just needs to die. It's awful. I agree that it should be a bit bigger. It just feels very cramped to me and that makes it very awkward to work around. And I also agree with adding bedrock to the middle. It'd make it less water-mappy that way, as if some masochist decides to just dig up the entire middle it turns into RIVER! THE MAP!

A clustered flag is a doubleflag. I dont mean a map with 2 flags. If you look i moved one of the flag's to the front of the rift.

Oh okay oops. Also I didn't notice you changed the map, and you made Cerberos' look so much better! I'd love to see the flag go up there, it'd encourage quick bridge building and also quick building. And would make the match less difficult to end, but also doesn't stop the possibility of it being a long game. I also love the dirt backwall. I'd like to see Cerberos' have a sorta already decayed bridge though, for a neat aesthetic. Some damaged wooden walls and platforms and stuff but I don't think that'd be possibly to do unfortunately, and it'd really ruin the point of having the two flags as one team or the other would get overpowered right away, so the dirtwall is probably much better :>

Like the flag positioning change to cerbero's rift as I equally don't see the point of double flag rooms. Way more interesting and fun to space them out to have a rush point to worry about, along with defending two points.

Also can't hurt to have mid a bit more traversable  Though I do love just to fling myself off the edge as archer and have a yo yo bow duel in the gap :rekt:

I must have been insane during the map vote because I chose Rayne's King Arthur Ponds over the rift. Compared to that the pit in this really isn't so bad because no water and it's a lot smaller.

Plus the maps high point is in the middle where the rift is. The front tower would inevitably be built on the lip of that pit (which also would be full of siege spam) and as a result is a lot more exposed to the enemy. This is unlike Rayne's KAP where the maps high points are at each end of the map, resulting in massive unreachable towers of siege just barraging mid and flinging enemy knights across the universe.

So I actually quite like playing on the rift, it definitely is better than any other pit map in the past vote imo
